That's riddiculous. There are dozens of other reasons. Maybe the crew want to work on other projects. Maybe the time is not right. Maybe the money is not right.

Maybe they just didn't want to make a sequel.

One of my fave films ever is Battle Royale.

But I refuse to watch the sequel as it just doesn't look much cop. I don't want it to taint my feelings towards the first one.

I would love there to be a "Back to the future 4". At one point they were on about it. Not sure if Michael J Fox would be up for acting in it though if it happened? Seeing as though he has Parkinson's

Meh if he won't be in it then there shouldn't be another one I suppose.

I would've liked a sequel to "The Thing" but when I look back, that ending is exactly what it should be to fit with the paranoia throughout the film.
