No, I am making JUDGEMENTS on that, not assumptions.

It is not an assumption he was in a rage over the prank.

It is not an assumption that over an hour later he still felt the need to violently express that rage.

His whole attitude was not an assumption.

We saw it.

You can criticise me for judging him on the footage shown, thats fine, but we are not discussing his behaviour on assumptions.

Jay has an unstable and violent temper. He was not only in a rage following the prank, he was still violently frustrated over an HOUR later, needing to hit something for an extended time. Outside the house it obviously would not have been a pillow used, and that obviously was part of his frustration.

Did you see the other HM faces? They were scared... genuinely disturbed by what they saw (except the vile Louise that is ofc). No one in that house should feel intimidated, controlled by the threat of barely suppressed violent anger from another HM.
I agree and did you hear Anton say to Harry that he (Harry) should stay away from Jay for now incase he punched his lights out? its really disgusting what Jay is allowed to get away with in that house and Louise is just pathetic,Faye and Maisy are the two best looking girls in the house aswell as Louise has a nasty face.

There is a massive difference between a "unstable and violent temper" and anger developing into a need to vent that anger on a soft target.

I am absolutely gobsmacked and i can't help but think there is more to every ones attitude other than tonight's action.

1. Jay and the Freezer
2. Jay Crude with Women
3. Jay pitted against Harry and Arron yesterday

All this must be massively colouring your opinion on this.

No Crom, none of that is it. You know what is though? The real thing that is?

The genuine look of fear on other HMs faces and the obvious scared atmosphere in the house when Jay was in the garden violently venting.

Like I say, no one in there signed up to be in that situation. Jay should go.

There was a somber mood in the house and Louise said she felt she should "look after him" nobody said they felt in fear of there safety. You are implying you can read there body language and sense fear over Somber.

Maybe Harry was scared for his safety, but your escalating that to all the Hm's.

I am implying nothing, I am clearly saying that the atmosphere (even the little shown) was terse and nervous, the HMs obviously intimidated during the exchnage when they were looking out the window. I am saying that the look on Faye's face spoke volumes. I am saying yes I can read body language and situations pretty well.

but look... even you admit that Harry was probably scared of Jay during that, and you know what? That alone is unnacceptable.

The best part of the episode was when Jay calmed down and talked to Harry and said "poor Tom is going to suffer, he is the smallest we're going to eat him first" I laughed about a minute straight.

Boxers and others do use punchbags to train and vent anger that is true. Jay tonight though was angry and wound up at one individual, Harry.
He felt the need after a fair time to not only shout his head off and throw things all over and in the pool, but to make a threat as to Harry in the diary room, surprisingly ignored by BB and to then have to spend a fair time punching into a pillow/cushion.

All he would likely be thinking was that pillow/cushion was in fact Harry, that is what is vastly different from sportsmen training with punchbags and the inward violent aggression Jay had in him at that time.

I think people have the bigger problem because it was Harry. If he was angry at another big male (had there been one) in the house people would have willed on a fight

Bloody fickle

I really doubt if that had been directed at anyone else the reaction would have been different. Except if it had been one of the girls of course, people would have gone on a lot worse about that (not saying he would go on like that with the girls though)

I personally would never will on a fight, I haven't as yet seen violence solve anything.

Had I been Harry though I would have steered well clear of Jay tonight because he was losing it bigtime.

But other people are begging for another fight night. Yet any sign of rage and Jay's a maniac.

I didn't see aggression, it was frustration he felt because what's done is done and there was nothing he could do about it. If he was aggressive he would have flew off the handle and been uncontrollable, he took his time and dealt with his emotion until he felt he could speak properly to Harry. True violent aggressive people don't think they just do.

I hate Jay, but I don't see what the problem was in him hitting a pillow away from everyone, it's obviously his way of dealing with anger. He could of hit Harry, but chose to hit a pillow. Doesn't mean he is some violent moron. Jesus, some of you need to get a bloody grip.

Imagine him in a gym punching a punch bag

Wouldn't seem abnormal at all, it's just something people do

But imagine him right on the floor punching the hell out of a pillow

Now that doesn't really seem normal

The thing is it was a bit of an OTT reaction off Jay as afterall Bananas would keep him fit, especially 500.

Hitting a punch bag is a well known and common way of taking out your anger, seeing as no punch bag is available then a pillow was the next best thing. I'm sorry, and I know I'm a Jay fan, but I really can't see the problem with what he did tonight, it was a good way of unleashing his frustration without it having a detrimental impact on his fellow housemates

He's a muscle head who's had a lack of protein and work outs since he's been in the house. Harry well knew of everyone, the shopping list sabotage was gonna wind Jay up the most and of course it did. He had some aggression, he had to get it out.

He punched a pillow not a housemate and like you said, had there been a gym, he would be a lot more level headed.

Well you seem like a reasonable fellow, and i am a reasonable fellow also, and i will look at it again with the thought in mind "does Jay have an unstable & violent temper" and i would ask you to look at it again with the thought in mind "Is anyone at risk of getting a punch now or is Jay controlled in his anger.

Fair enough

Though it will be hard to get past the stamping on food in rage, throwing stuff around in rage, binning whatever he can get his hands on in rage, sitting around seething with rage, and, an hour later, needing to beat on the floor for an extended period in blind rage.

I think Harry felt very much at risk, and the others scared and nervous, even from that little bit we saw.

The thought I will bear in mind though, if thats ok, is not will he punch someone now, but has he in the near future (with even more built up anger and maybe more booze) got the potentiol to be dangerous to the others?

When you piss off a group of people there is always going to be one person who takes it harder then others. When you mess up the food it will probably be the guy requiring 3000+ calories a day who will take it the worst.
