Her we go. I have been waiting and waiting for luke to pull the sympathy card and get some milage out of his dilema. Others on here have called him everything from a very butch lesbian to a bastard for not telling his wife about his sex change. Now Deana has handed him his oportunity and he will milk it with all the gusto he can.

He has a likeable charachter and has a few fans but he will crash and burn if he dosent handle this correctly. Deana made a bit of an insensitive remark probably not driven as a direct insult but the PC mob are going to have a field day now. Deana is only guilty of being a fool for not thinking this gaff through properly. Do people out there not think that the producers havent sat down with Luke and told him to expect a level of abuse and would he be able to handle it. I would have imagined that he would have brushed it off with a < of course i will be able to handle it> kind of comment. Now he is looking to milk it for what its worth.

I for one am very confussed about what to think, say and do regarding Luke so how do you think the HM,s feel.

If you are a lady and want to live with another woman you are by society definition a lesbian.

If you are a man that lives with another man, you are by definition gay.

By the way there is nothing wrong with the above, I applaud both.

However (I am now quoting my friend who is a doctor) If you have surgery and change gender you are generally accepted by society as whatever you change to, but if you tie down your bits and wear ladys clothes or have a tattoo and talk like a man but still retain the doughnut or meat and 2 veg, then your gender is at the behest of whoever you are asking to accept you.

There are no definates laid down for the sex of a person outside their hormonal structure and body makeup. We all know certain people are trapped inside the wrong body but unless the law has changed, I am still unconvinced people like Luke that are middway a lifestyle change have earned the right to be one or the other no matter what they insist on. Sure we go along with it and I have observed that on here but comments like what you are making are profoundly clear with no discussions and it does nobody any good let alone others that are trying their best to become accepted by society after taking a huge leap to better themselves. I am entitled to my opinion as you are but I personally cant see that Luke has convinced me for one let alone himself.
