agreed. But matthew here things such behaviour makes a person interesting? same with shiv and ash who chose to mock and laugh at adams body and moobs as he tried to exercise...matthew found that also totally acceptable.. I find it unacceptable unpleasant nasty and boring. I agree with you 100%

In addition to magic, you also seem to have quite a vague memory and ability to take things out of context. I said numerous times that I found that situation with Shiv/Ash/Adam to be rude and nasty. You called it bullying, which I disagreed with and chalked it up to girls being girls. If you're going to cite my opinions on specific issues, at least make sure you get them right. I believe that was another example of a thread where I made a comment about a BB situation, and you were quick to attack my character as a result.

I agree with you Rinky, even if once in a while you think those things, it isnt humane to say them out loud and hurt people. Mathew and I have already discussed his like of Caroline, unfortunate. You can be posh and not be evil, most of the posh people I know are actually quite nice and educated.

Bullying: a form of aggressive behavior manifested by the use of force or coercion to affect others, particularly when the behavior is habitual and involves an imbalance of power. It can include verbal harassment, physical assault or coercion.

So, now let's look at the situation in question, pertaining to bullying. Did Shiv/Ash show any aggressive behavior towards Adam? Did they physically assault him? No. Did they verbally assault him? He was outside and they were inside, so he wasn't able to hear anything, so that's a no. Did they use coercion? I don't recall Shiv/Ash forcing another party in the house to behave in an involuntary manner through the use of threats or intimidation, which is what coercion is. So again, no.

Not let's look at discrimination. Do shiv/ash have a prejudice against anyone who isn't 'in shape'? Because for it to be discrimination, that would have to be the case. They both seem to get on quite well with Becky, Caroline, and Scott. All of whom wouldn't be classified as physically 'fit'. You can't even determine prejudice based on a single event, it has to be a common and reoccurring bias, which we haven't seen. So once again, that's a no.

Were the comments rude? Sure. Were they discriminatory or of a bullying nature? By definition, they aren't. I'm not just making these definitions up, if you don't agree, take it up with Websters. Don't call me a supporter of bullying/discrimination and a bigot simply because you don't understand the terminology.

Matt, you have some valid points but Caroline does bully people, im not sure about discrimination but she defo does bully... constantly speaking negatively about others in such a way that changes the group dynamic towards that person is considered bullying.

Im cool with anyone here liking who they like, Im not interested in changing who people support, I only want people to be more objective and no so blinded. For example, I like Deana and Lauren but I am able to admit they are not perfect and are weak in some aspects.

It just seems to me that people here blindly defend their favorites to the death, even when it is obvious that some of their behaviours is not appropriate and quite dangerous at times.

I notice matthew you avoid my specific question as to whether you have particcipated in this type of discrimination yourself in real life? have you ever pointed at or mocked another persons physical imperfections, abnormalities etc? why are you avoiding this question?

matthew yet again hides behind the various interpretations he makes of bullying. ultimately this chap condones this discrimination , bullying and bigotry. this is exactly what pointing at people and laughing and mocking their physical imperfections to try and make them feel bad and make yourselves feel good. its bullying its bigotry and its discrimination.
