To be fair to phoebe I think one things that is played down far too much is Joey's blatant disregard for women. It's often made a joke of but sometimes the way he tricks his way into bed with women i find that a bit disgusting and sleazy.

That's coming from a hetero male too.

What do you think of Barney on HIMYM then Joey's womanising seems to get more talked about than actually seen on Friends, you can separate it from his character fairly easily I think but I guess they wanted a womanising character for the sake of having one cos it sets up so many jokes/comedy moments

It was worse how they made him ridiculously dumb by the end of it

I don't like how I met your mother and I certainly don't like Barney. He's one dimensional to me.

Some of my favourite Joey moments revolved around him as a person and not his lust for sexual conquests. The thanksgiving turkey incident and the time he busted down Monica's door and the punching Ross ones creased me up.

At the start to middle Joey and Chandler in turns, but after they made Joey too dumb and Chandler too much of a douché, Ross emerged as the most entertaining and funniest.

Phoebe was all right at the start but as the series went on they turned her too much of a bee of my liking, Monica was always too annoying and unbearable and Rachel too... something, something. Even though they all had good moments throughout.

I like the three guys the best, I always found their scenes to be by far the funniest and also the most interesting. The relationship between the guys was a lot better as well.

I'd go with Ross > Chandler > Joey > Rachel > Phoebe > Monica. I don't actually dislike the female characters but they just aren't really funny. Phoebe probably just about beats the other two for amusing scenes but Rachel was a better character and Monica didn't really stand out at all.

Well even though it's barely half a day old I think it's safe to say that Chandler is the official favourite of the forum. We can discount Phoebe thanks to all that block voting from Liam and Luke.
