I still send them and receive them, but I have noticed that the numbers of both are decreasing.

It may be the cost. I used to always receive a hundred or more Valentines cards but that dwindled to just a couple because of the cost - I just couldn't afford to keep buying them, and addressing them to myself took too long quite frankly.

I always send cards, special ones for family and friends and then more normal ones for neighbours.

I also send them to long distance relatives and friends with a small note and photographs etc and they reply in the same way, I find it sad that it's a dying tradition tbqh.

We were really discouraged from giving them at my secondary school because of it being harmful to the environment lol, suppose they could have just encouraged us to recycle them instead
