Don't see why she brought his son into it though when he had nothing to do with their argument, if she wanted to defend herself then she should've done that but she just used his family instead knowing that would really upset him, nobody would appreciate that or react well/calmly to it

Why should she show him any kind of respect when he's speaking to her so badly, what does she owe him? And tbqh I think her answer to him was far more dignified than the stuff he had been saying to her, she never insulted him or got personal, she simply said his behaviour was out of order. Her's was a reaction to him therefore he's the one in the wrong. This whole "oh don't mention my kids" stuff is ridiculous she didn't mock his child, she mocked him being a bad role model to his child.......which he was
