Normally open one on Christmas Eve.
Stockings when we wake up before going downstairs.
The rest of the presents get opened at whatever time the kids get up, which could be anywhere from 8 until midday, depending on their laziness and my patience.

Christmas morning....my son asks every half hour from around 4am if we can get up, usually cave around 6 but make him wait till I make a brew then the mad hour starts. The rest of the day usually consists of me moaning about the amount of packaging that toys come with, trying ti find the batteries I bought and building stuff.

depending on how old he is you should get your son to make the brew before they can open them
