The huge difference between Boyzone and Westlife is that each member of Westlife could sing and write music. In the early days the lead vocals was swapped between Shane Mark Brian and Cian. Boyzone were a rushed together group that people laughed at but Louis Walsh made millions from. Ronan took over most of the vocals with the late Stephen and they were never put to the test. I KNEW he would mess it up

I have perfect pitch which means I hear these things. Singing in tune isn't everything, but it grates with me

He's got a very unique and distinctive voice, it's got some character, I rate that more highly than someone who can sing note perfect

Liam Gallagher, Kurt Cobain, neither were "good" singers as such but they have something special and interesting that made them some of my favourite singers

And his smile is to die for :loved up: Preferred him with his real teeth though, i think the veneers spoilt his smile a tad ,but I still wouldnt kick him out of bed

I still love his voice but tbh I really went off him for that stuff with his ex wife, cheating on her and making really tactless comments on Twitter afterwards

Yes it was bitter ... Thats one of the reasons Im not keen on John Barnes as he cheated several times on his ex wife who he had kids too

Now I know they are strong singers and the weaker ones take the back seat...like VB in Spice girls...but not only could I have sung it better, I would have known the words off by heart of one of my greatest hits.
