THE IRA planned a Brexit Day attack by planting a bomb on a lorry due to sail from Northern Ireland to mainland Britain, police said yesterday.

The terrorists would have caused carnage had their device detonated on a ferry to Scotland.

Officers have blamed the Continuity IRA for the botched terror bid.

Well they were talking about it on Sky News in connection with the election and Sinn Fein, as the political wing of the IRA. Saying that they have many young supporters now but many older voters who lived through the troubles won’t vote for them because of this and the bomb on the lorry at this time wasn’t helping their campaign etc...

Looking good for Sinn fein on the exit polls tonight.

The fact that the media protrayed that it was the young ie 18/35 who didn't know their own mind and hence voted SF was an insult to me 47yr old ..I know my own mind as does my 56 yr old husband.

If the exit polls are to be believed, it will be a hung parliament with both parties, unless one of them teams up with Sinn Fein?
