It was but it was a widespread issue, a lot of the initial Xboxes were affected by it so it was a huge bother to get it sorted. It's made me hesitant to get consoles right out of the gate.

I hope it all works out, I don't think Playstations have had many issues on the RRoD level that hasn't been fixable via patches and such so hopefully nothing goes wrong with the first batch.

I hated the 360 for this very reason and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to getting an Xbox console again. When I was at school I knew so many people that this happened to but luckily it never happened with mine but I still ended up trading it in and getting a PS3 instead.

It would be the PS5 but I’m still undecided whether to get one or not and I would definitely wait at least a year before I’d go out and buy it. I’ve just kinda gone off games in general over the last few years, I wasn’t that excited when the PS4 was released and it took until 2017 for me to actually go out and buy one.

Was getting PS5 either way unless it was much more expensive.

The Digital edition looks like great value, but I do enjoy having physical copies collection. It hurts that I’ve slowly moved away from DVDs and Music, I want to try hold onto Games for abit longer.
