Nah, this is just promotional stuff for her music and whatnot. I doubt that it's about the money at all.

I am curious what they paid her to do it though.

She has a net worth of 20M at age 21. Doing this show is just a side quest for her.

I have Facebook.

Ain't got a clue who she is.

She's my favourite so far. I see a softness in her. Her Daley and Mickey, and the one and only, Rick Astley, perhaps! are probably going to be the only ones I'm going to be into.

Jojo is most like civilian BB. Which will be a massive plus when it comes to voting. Her time for that is a long way off yet though. Which is another plus.

It's insane if she really is broke though, JoJo Bows were huge, Claire's accessories sold them and ALL of the girls my daughters age were obsessed with them, they would compete for who had the most, we must have had 30+ of the damn things. And they were sold globally.

Lol...I didn't know they were anything to do with her. Being a boy mum I didn't have that craze but I know a lot of girls in his class always wore the bows and raved about them constantly.

…see, working in a school and being familiar with lots of ‘girl crazes’, I still had no knowledge of either JoJo or the bows, how strange…

High school or primary school Ammi? I refuse to believe if it was primary schools, that you didn't see all of the girls rocking massive hair bows around 2017/2018. If you did, those were JoJo Siwa "JoJo bows" .

Or cheaper knock-offs from eBay .

…Primary school and the older years so definitely ones that would have applied……we’ve had 99 crazes through my time there but JoJo bows ain’t one of them…mind you in my defence I have had long periods away from the children/school with health stuff also…

I actually have a very vague memory of those bows too but never knew they were connected to her

To be fair, for some the concept of polyamory can be quite triggering.

It made me fuming tbh.

Nearly as bad as watching an England friendly match on the Football.

Being serious, people get annoyed (I don't use terms like triggered personally) at people being Polyamorous?

Isn't that a bit strange?

I think having an 8/9 year old daughter at the time of JoJo Siwa's "peak celebrity" is why I'm so aware of her to be fair. She indeed was HUGELY famous... but only with a very specific demographic of pre-teen girls.

Other random lore: Whe daughter was 13/14 and in her gay era, and JoJo came out, we used to joke that she might marry her. Daughter came out as straight a few years ago though so I guess that's not on the cards any more.

The bottom line I guess is that there are a TON of people that are insanely famous in this age of global internet media that individuals not of certain demographics may have missed.

I only know her from Dance Moms really. I also spend too much time online and find her current effort to do a Miley rebranding amazingly entertaining in all it's car crash glory. But, I never watched any of her cartoons or TV shows and it's not like I have followed her music or bought a bow, so I do get why some in the UK who might engage with British traditional media more might not know her.

But I do think that we should accept that a person can be famous and a celeb with us personally not knowing them from mainstream stuff here in the UK. It's a big ole world out there.

I wonder how many have heard of Maddie Ziegler?
