Mandarins, bureaucrats and jobsworths who hide behind their positions to give us lesser mortals grief and themselves some form of perverse gratification.

Its especially bad with people like planning departments, who simply slap projects down, instead of offering guidance and explanation. But it occurs in all areas of life

Oh, heres something thats been niggling me for a while.

About a month ago, gavin went to newcastle, where he bumped into someone he knew, who told him they were a member here. But gavin either cant remember the username...or didnt ask :/

I think I know where you're coming from. You can spot the resident busybodies in my workplace a mile off. This one lady patrols the place all day with her checklist making sure everbody has checked in and out in case of a fire drill.

She is hardly one of the worst though. A woman I had to deal with in my university faculty when changing modules was one of the rudest people I'd ever met and wouldn't shut her mouth when she disagreed with a decision I was making, even though it had sod all to do with her.
