An excellent modern horror is The Babadook, I don't know why but it's pretty much the only horror film I've watched since my younger days that has genuinely scared me and I can't say why. It's just something about it is just..... I can't put it into words.

Woah that was really heavy. I'm torn in two different directions, was Kevin the way he was because Eva wasn't a natural mother or was he just born a manipulative psychopath? Why didn't Franklin listen to her when she raised concerns, especially after the guinea pig ended up in the garbage disposal and after Cecilia lost an eye.

How would you deal with that as a parent. I can't even try to imagine

Oh honourable mention to that guy in the wheelchair who I presume was one of Kevins victims, what a sweetheart he was

...yeah, I wasn’t sure that I wanted to revisit just because it’s so incredibly dark ...and very, very powerful and it made me think of JD or JD made me think of Kevin...I’ll try to watch it tomorrow../...I can’t recall all details which will be fresh with you and others watching for the first time...

ahhh I thought it was a very good horror and I was worried about it because it was Irish and I guess we're not really known for horror films or many films in general but yeah I liked it a lot, it had a very good mood? is that a real thing in films? it should be because it was there. I loved the main actor, she was really good, I'm hoping that was really her at the end and really Chris, I believe it was and that's all that matters. The End.

...oh, I will look up Krampus, GoldHeart...I hadn’t heard of it, but then I only know the relatively few horrors I’ve seen...thank you for that.....I’ll also look up Dezzy’s suggestion of Babadook...I haven’t looked at the spoilers for Kampus because I’ll put it on my horror watch list...(...I’ll make one especially now...)....
