I've never heard it called anything other than the nobby, although I've not spent much time pondering it. Is it a London thing, I wonder?

I'm not sure it is.. I live in London and most people seem to say end slice.

But then one of my friends says "nobby" and suggested it was an Irish thing, yet I'm part Irish and no-one in my family who's actually from Ireland has ever said that.

I have only ever called it a crust. Never known it be called any of the other words.
