I heard IAC Australia was pretty good for what it's worth.

Anyway, I don't even think CBB14 was that bad and I'll go out there and say that it's probably as good as we're going to get in this day and age. It still had its loud and annoying centerpiece character that production feels is necessary for whatever ****ing reason, but Gary Busey was easily the least overbearing of them all so other people were still able to emerge. The supporting cast was still decent enough and provided some good material and even though a lot of them were awful human beings they weren't problematic for the most part. I'll take CBB14 any day over whatever the **** we just sat through this past January.

I like CBB15, but honestly that's because the first week was classic and the first half was rivetting. In the end, it just became a clone of the draining BB15 and CBB14.

It may be the highest rated CBB on C5 (only like 20k higher than CBB13, so I don't really get people who use that as an excuse, but anyway) but I don't think it's a series worth cloning the success off.

I still liked CBB15 in spite of the producers' attempts to ruin it via Hopkins and Perez and the last week (or there abouts) of CBB14 was literal excrement so

Same. It's like my 4th fave CBB, but it was far from perfect. I'm not a massive fan of CBB14, either. It's probably the weakest summer CBB for me, excluding CBB8 ofc.

I can cope with 5 weeks. If they don't do the whole 'ONE CELEBRITY VS ANOTHER CELEBRITY, FOCUS ON THEM, WHO DO YOU PREFER POLL EVERYDAY' and from the cast so far it doesn't look like that will happen, but if it does then Chyna vs Janice pls, or them to team up and drown him from The Apprentice x

Of course it will, the theme is UK vs. USA (a theme inspired by CBB15 of all series).

Yeah but they can have loads of different layers with it. I hope they don't just care for one from each continent.

lol at Rylan running for his life to host it alone.

They better revamp the house properly with all that month+ hiatus.

the house better look bit different with a six week gap! the less resemblance to BB16, the better.

If it starts on Thursday 27th August, and it's five weeks long. That'll take it to Friday 2nd October, by the latest.

It's going to feel weird having the number of celebrity series overtake the number of civilian series

I've always enjoyed CBB primarily because it's quick and doesn't require much/if any 'investment', so I'm not liking the sound of this. Then again C5 usually make good celebrity versions (at least in comparison to their abysmal attempts at civ bb) so it may still be bearable, we'll have to wait and see I guess.

So it's a 6 week gap between BB16 and CBB16? Ew

That's what Summer CBB is anyway
Can it be called Summer CBB? It's going to run into October if it's 5 weeks, which is autumn

I don't think it has been confirmed that it's a 6 week gap. I genuinely think that 27th rumour is a load of bollocks (I hope so, anyway). I think it's starting on Friday 21st August, personally. Any later and that's just a piss take.

I agree with your 2nd point, it'll practically be an Autumn CBB. The thought of the fact that January CBB is seperated by the end of this CBB by only 3 months is scary.

Friday 21st August would be a great starting date, but that's two weeks today and they haven't been advertised it (we should have the official date by now fgs), then again a lot of Channel 5 BBs haven't been advertised (Take BB16, for example)

Summer CBBs generally finish mid-September (the latest being September 13th CBB12), so it's only really two/three weeks more, but even still those weeks make a difference
The gap between CBB15 and BB16 was three months yet it felt like it was back to back to me, so the same is probably going to apply here

I'm for it, the energy of CBB always seems to last longer, the regular series' always lose steam really quick.
