Yes ,it's a difficult one as lets face it kids have got hurt or killed on trips without the threat of terrorism, they will probably let him go,I suppose it depends on how things pan out from now till then.

It's all well and good saying we have to carry on as normal but are you going to put that into play with your kids lives too? I probably wouldn't

Oh I'd go Kaz, but I would not allow my children to go. I do not believe that anyone should show defiance or play the hero and possibly risk other peoples safety at the same time.

My mum has a couple of appointments in central London later this month but i've persuaded her not to go.
Before the terrorist attack in Paris, my sister and I were talking about going to Disneyland Paris, but now I wouldn't even consider it.

I was going to head out to the local co op but now I'm too scared that ISIS or Nazis or the Sith might have put landmines in my garden. Dunno if that counts.

Unfortunately the Co op is the only shop within 10 miles of me Arista. No big savings for poor Toy Soldier without an unnecessarily long trip.

I work in central London so I don't have much choice.

I have just had to book a flight to Bulgaria and I found myself pausing over whether or not to fly with Turkish Air, which is more convenient for me than Austrian air. I decided to take the safer option and fly with AA.

Edited because my grammar and spelling is always a mess!

I've heard loads of people saying they won't go to the Trafford Centre near me (which I've jumped on board with, god awful place), and the Manchester Christmas Markets have been quieter than usual but I wouldn't want things that are happening to make me live in fear. My brother is a Pilot and was flying during 9/11 and that was frightening but more so for us waiting for him to contact home than for him whilst flying, he can't allow himself to get spooked I gues

I wouldn't to be honest Niamh , I am quite cautious like that , afterall we may say it doesn't happen to us ,but it happens to SOMEONE and who's to say that SOMEONE will never be us or our loved ones , I'de rather be a live coward than a dead hero. I am always being told I am over protective , but I cant help it. Just been on the phone to them , he isn't going , can't say I'm surprised, and secretly pleased.

I feel quite safe in London to be honest. It's well protected. I can't just sit at home and do nothing. Having said that I'm very much aware that we live in terror. Anything could happen at anytime in any place. It's not a good feeling.

We have a giant ass shopping centre right next to us so I'd go there regardless. I don't think we're really at risk from terrorists where we live in all honesty. I live about 45 minutes away from Birmingham so I imagine that would be a bigger target so i'm not worried at all going about my daily business.

because Birmingham has the Christmas German Markets(which is crowded) it could be more of a target now so i'm a bit sceptical about going.

Too true, but best to stay as safe as possible, especially with kids, lets hope we get on top of things before they get any worse.

...no, we haven't booked yet but planned to go to Paris around February/half term next year and still will go...the hotel that we usually stay at is only a few hundred yards from some of the brutal killings so the only change will be, that this attack has happened and that inevitably, it'll feel sad and solemn ...but more sad I think, if the beauty and people of Paris were not visited and appreciated ....
