Lol. I’ve done temporary dreadlocks before. They did look kinda cool

Twist small sections of your hair. Hairspray the **** out of it. Hair straighten them and hair spray them some more.

Super damaging and you would have to wash them out after 3 days max cos of all the hairspray.

lol I got some like that from a Gorillaz gig. It wasn't official merch, someone was selling them outside.

But anyway the clips are fairly easy to conceal? When I went through my emo phase I had coloured fringes which people didn't know were fake.

Wow I just found this thread, a great morning read . I'll throw my rasta hat in the ring;

1) I don't think it's racist, the idea that dreadlocking hair is historically "only a black people thing" is just plain false. It was very common in all cultures, and not even that long ago.

2) However I think it will look ****ing stupid. So... I guess... do it and post pictures?
