Yeah, this is what I was confused by, it was implied that the kind of guy you're talking about here would be made out to be some sort of hero or something when that's so far from the case

Great point, and it seems the only defining issue between Joe public and boris is money... if you are not reliant on the state you can seemingly do all that and it's fine, if it's not money what is it? The way the media had spun it?
Imagine if the media had treated boris like anyone else, and not airbrushed his wife out and romanticised the affair, would he have made PM?
