Yeah I drink to get drunk but it's not often

Having one or two is pointless, I'd rather take the car

If I'm on a night out I like to get tipsy.

I used to get smashed all the time when I was younger but now I don't see the point and regret the hangover.

Only drinking to get drunk is bizarre to me.

Like, does nobody just enjoy drinking alcohol? A couple of pints? A glass of wine? etc just to wind down?

Me?

Not really because I'm slim and don't need to watch my calorie intake.

As for my liver, I'm not an alcoholic so no I'm not worried.

Just as eating fatty foods doesn't make me worry about my arteries or heart because I'm not an overweight twat having takeaways for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The calorific side doesn't bother me either, because if i'm not too hammered I always go to the gym on sundays so I burn it off

I don't see the point in drinking like one glass or so. It's either get drunk af or don't bother. I do enjoy the feeling of being tipsy though, depends on the situation.

That's like saying what's the point in eating. Eat until you're so full you can't move or don't bother.

Yeah but with eating it doesn't ultimately give you a good feeling when you're really full unlike when you're really drunk. Being overfull is just uncomfortable, I'd rather be hungry.

Drunk tends to be a state people stumble into. The feeling of being drunk people either can't remember or hate.

I guess it's a bit of a love/hate thing. It technically doesn't feel good in a sense, but it makes you do and say crazy **** that you may never have done so there are positives from it.

I don't drink to get so drunk that I don't know what I'm doing, I don't like that feeling, I do drink to get a bit more than tipsy though.

I mostly drink on Saturday nights unless i'm out at a party or on holiday etc. Plus because I never drank at all for so long it doesn't take much at all to get me drunk.

I'm intrigued why did you decide to drink again?

Well it started with just having a little drink on nights out and that really, was bored of being the sober one and listening to everyone else's drunken ramblings lol
