So there we have it, our AS season started! I actually feel like a lot of people are positive about this premiere, based on social media and "expert" websites.

I haven't changed my mind about the cast: some of them really are all-stars, some are previous players, and some are totally fillers.

The VT's were good, thank God they got rid of that awkward "I found my key" segment...

I like the idea of having a competition right from the start, but did it have to be athletic? I mean, I wish they were all nicely dressed and have a short one on one talk with Julie before entering. The competition could have been a mental one about BB legacy or something like that.

Not too thrilled about Cody winning, but OF COURSE that was expected from him. Watch him target Nicole A, Da'vonne and Kaysar, and work with Tyler in the process.

The have-not room was a mess but that's live TV! Whoever locked that room before the premiere has been fired since

The masks were the funniest part, I suppose it was meant to shut up the critical people and show they are serious.

With the cast I think twice on Big Brother is enough, I'm sure there's plenty of memorable people who could have got a second go than giving people a third go.

That was a fun premiere! I think the cast is solid bar David who's out of place imo. I know a few people (and some in the house) probably wanted bigger names but I'm happy we avoided Dan/Derrick/etc. It'll be nice to let other people expand on their reputations. I have no desire to watch people blow smoke up their arses.

It's weird to see so many people I never thought would play again (Kevin, Memphis, Keesha...even Janelle, Kaysar, and Dani) in the house but it's refreshing nonetheless. The lack of showmances will make the game less predictable, imo.

The competition was hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing at the first four women constantly trying and failing to navigate the ball around that huge board, lmao. Da'Vonne's constant swearing I'm not too bothered Cody ended up winning, I think first-week HOH's are always up in the air and who knows what's going to happen. It's like picking two names out of a hat, really.

Lmao, Julie was so on form tonight. I thought she handled so many of the awkward moments well despite coming across awkward herself. "Last housguest to sit down gets evicted" is already the quote of the season.

I thought the opener was decent. It was interesting how some cast members just fit and others were so completely awkward. For sure a different season when its not all about showmances etc. It will be interesting when game play actually starts. Im trying to pair whos going to work together but there are some unknowns

I do see people who think they are better than others getting booted first. At least that's my hope!
