Didn't affect anything at all. Never was going to as my family have kind of accepted last year that this is something that will be around forever so we don't really give a ****. My dads the only high risk person for us and he was vaccinated as soon as they were available so..

I find it sad that people have cancelled plans and that because of covid, yet again. I mean, do whats right for yourselves of course but I have some deeply depressed individuals in my life who have cancelled a second year in a row because they were basically told to and its made things much worse for them, even if it is 'only a day'.

Mines been a bit messed up, great Christmas day then brother and nephew caught it and eldest daughter , all the rest of us are negative for now, but NY is off .

I knew after Christmas more & more people would test positive , and after New year's Eve it will go up again.. what with all the bars etc partying through the night.

The cases were going up hugely before Christmas due to the nature of the Omnicron variant

If anything any rise would be due to the huge numbers self-testing prior to having their Christmas
