It was obvious from the moment they formed the alliance they wouldn't be popular with the majority of the general public.

Same here, I'd much rather root for Mari/Hannah/Michaela/Zeke etc than the 4 cool kids

The whole Gen X tribe seems pretty boring so far. Also, considering he stated that he was "only there for the gameplay", David has terrible gameplay.

I think my favourite part of that episode was that confessional where Rachel was being half-blown down the beach whilst yelling "I THINK THERE MIGHT BE A CYCLONE", not that there was a great deal to choose from

I know there's been very little hype surrounding this season, but I didn't think an episode where an entire day was discared and the camps were destroyed by a cyclone could feel so... commonplace? Predictable? I'm sure it's not a general Survivor fatigue and that some interesting stuff will (probably) happen given time, but we've seen the whole four-person cool kids alliance thing done countless times already (both FvF seasons to name but two), I'm not even going to go into the hard-working/free-spirited/participation trophy bull**** that I feel like I've been hearing every day for four months - and never again once they drop the theme after the next episode, and wow wasn't a MOR female getting booted for her puzzle performance so very novel an idea yes it was well done everyone

On the kinda bright side, I'm liking Ken, Hannah, Mari, CeCe, Taylor and Adam all more than I expected to, even if the latter's been taking lessons in confessional subtlety from Johnny Mac
