His depression story seems to be ongoing. I don't know if suicide will play a part.

I'm guessing all of this stuff with Whitney will affect him when he finds out about her kissing Mick.

Jacqueline wants to come back, she's been off for over a year. I wonder if they extended her leave because she came back for a few weeks in September.

I wonder if they're waiting until Jake's leave is over so she comes back to get him out of prison. I can't see her willingly living on the square whilst her dad is in prison for something he didn't do.

I hope not. I always found her an insipid, sanctimonious cow after her first year or two. The same scenes with her and Max in the Branning sitting room didn't exactly make for riveting viewing.

That's right. I've gone right off Whitney, though. I can't imagine how horrifying and soul-destroying it must be to be a victim of grooming but I hope they're not trying to excuse her having no conscience and stepping out of line on the basis of her past.

I still can't believe Shabnam's abrupt departure.

It felt like her story was nowhere near over. Now we won't see her onscreen with Zainab.
