Default Now Sky are after Big Brother

I hope it doesn't go there, they have a habit of reviving high profile shows, murdering them then axing them after series 2

also shown on Five

Like other Sky/Five Special Deals.

FIVE Want Celebrity Big Brother

SKY Want Big Brother

Personally, Big Brother is far better than the Celebrity show just because its on all summer and gives us somthing to be excited for instead of a series thats on for 3 weeks.

I hear alot of people dont get Sky so this may harm the ratings, unless its showen on Sky for Sky users and on another channel for Virgin Users if you get me?

Im glad now 2 channels are intrested in it because now there is deffenatly a better chance of BB12 Happening.

I really will love to see the face of all the haters who have said 'Thank god its being axed' and then they would see it on another channel lol

We have 5 months before BB11 which means about 8 Months before Big Brother finishes, lets hope Endemol get a few more offers from other channels, if BB11 Does do well I could see bigger and better channels like ITV being intrested.. it does depend on BB11.

Wow, barely 1 day since it finished and two channels wanting it.

Five is a terrestaral (sp?) channel so its better for ratings and media hype.
Sky is digital, less hype and llower ratings BUT more of a possibility for red button.

2 is better than nothing isn't it ? I don't think it could interest BBC nor ITV so it's definitely down to a smaller network, unfortunately.

ITV being interested would br brilliant, shame it would never happen though. 3m+ is normally considred a flop for ITV, unless BB11 gets 4.5m+ nightly, i dount ITV woudl want it/

But it could attract more people as it's on ITV don't you think ?

(I'm rubbish at ratings analysis so I let the professionals speak )

ITV would ruin it though. All the PC editing

In a couple of years the digital/terrestrial channel thing won't matter, because of digital switchover.

We just have to hope BB11 performs as well as CBB7 does now.

I'm glad because I can only picture Sky being the best option after the last series.

ITV don't have the space for it because their budget is too big due to airing other stuff. The only option would be to axe News at Ten throughout the summer and I doubt they'll do that.

Not really- Sky only own the rights to pay satellite, they don't actually own the channel space so they'll have to pay like every other channel. Again its another costs exercise and if its worth it.

Sky have a habit of reviving shows and making an absolute mess of them so I'd rather it never returned at all than going there. Sky are worse than C4 when it comes to getting their own input. Five don't really care, they just let the producers do whatever.

They're not something shown on both channels though. Its like saying ITV News and Channel 4 News are both the same because they're made by ITN.

Very true. They would have to advertise between XF and BGT to ensure it gets huge media attention, as well as billboards.
But im not sure if people will just tune in just because its being aired on ITV.

Why would Endemol approach a channel that isn't interested? Go figure. Its an open secret that Sky have been after BB for some time

"They're not something shown on both channels though. Its like saying ITV News and Channel 4 News are both the same because they're made by ITN."

But it tells you
Five work with Sky.
Anything is possible.

And Poor 'Watch Ch.'
may die without this.

But, where do we go from here?

Do we email C5 and Sky asking them to consider it?

Surely if other channels are expressing their interest C4 would think that there's still life in the format themselves, and would want to offer Endemol more money so that they can keep it?

Endemol are in the Business

They can not
as 5 years ahead of Booked places and Shows are now to be on.

So Big Brother has been rubbed out by Ch4 (who are bankrupt)
