Right. Current gameshows that any nobody can apply to: The Chase - ridiculously difficult questions, up against 1 of 3 clever people, who has to answer about 20 questions in 2 minutes to leave you walking away with nothing. Deal or No Deal - chance. No actual rewarding merit. Eggheads - you're against 5/7 incredibly clever people. Million Pound Drop - pretty dodgy questions + pressure ensure you're never left with more than £50K by the end. The only one that's relatively straightforward that I know of is The Weakest Link. Every single other straightforward gameshow has been changed to only allow on celebrities playing for charity (Family Fortunes, Who Wants to be a Millionaire?). Whilst this is all lovely - it's also pretty horrible for us commonfolk. I want to win £10k by knowing a few catchphrases or filling in some vowels ![]()
