ITV to make a joint bid for Endemol?

Just heard them talk about this on the radio, the Telegraph is running this story tomorrow apparently, couldn't find on their site but it's mentioned here

Strange story if true, dunno why those two companies would be jointly making a bid, doesn't bode well for BB's future on 5
