What does it mean when someone says he/she is a lush?

I though saying blah blah blah is lush was like saying someone was hot but lately ive been seeing it used as a kind of insult

I thought it meant the same thing as saying someone is hot too

Always thought it meant delicious, like when referring to food and stuff, although I've heard it used to say someone's hot as well but never as an insult

I've heard it used several ways.

if someone IS lush - they're desireable, lovely, fancied.

If some is A lush -they're a skank - usually when enebriated.

If something is lush - it's nice, pleasant (as in lush green fields)
