On last nights HL show, Chris said to Conner, because he liked him "You - your not your normal Irish man." I wonder what he meant by this and what is his general opinion of the Irish. Or - What is a normal Irish Man?

It was a weird conversation. I don't think even Chris knows what he meant. And someone added "I've never met anyone from Jersey." Yes, they are all equally rare and they all have some sort of odd connotation: pornstars, the Irish, people from Jersey... :/

What seemed most eerie was that he evidently expected Conor to take it as a compliment. If the key word had been "black", "Jewish", "gay", "Asian" etc. (or possibly if Chris did not come across as so perpetually dimwitted) then I would think that would have been a diary room summons at the least.

Yeah and as Anthony Hatface said, that he should be happy that Chris thinks he's not like "normal" Irish men

Maybe it's because he wasn't carrying the Blarney stone around with him, and doesn't have eyebrows on his cheeks.
