I think it's a combo of that and the fan fics people write about her being an amazing player who had so much potential to do well and was a robbed goddess (TM) or something

who even cares, it's peoples types of contestants and if they want to they can, it's not offensive. People have proved they don't always support ethnicity and that's not always the case.

It was an excuse used by Michelle to flip the votes bc she didn't want Figgy to go. I would imagine that surviving your first Tribal Council is a prerequisite to actually being considered a strategic threat.
