Reviews (spoiler free thankfully) are out for the first 5 episodes that were sent to the press and what I've read has been predominantly positive so far

Couple of really cool new teasers! (that probably only I on here will care about but still!)

Great opening episode. Much prefer Maeve to Dolores/Teddy (despite my signature) so I'm glad they put a spotlight on her, I thought her and Sizemore were both hilarious.

"It won't make much of a meal."

I'm intrigued to learn more about Bernard's situation, obviously nobody knows he's a host yet so that will be interesting. I assume all the stuff with Present Bernard will eventually lead up to what we've seen so far with Future Bernard so there's that to look forward to as well.

I thought it was okay, too much time has passed for me to care about it as much as I did when the first season aired. Serialised shows like this should never take a year off.

Maeve is, once again, the MVP but I have to admit that I don't really care about the other plotlines. William's feels like it's gonna be a repeat of the maze business from the first season, Dolores has become boring and I just don't care for Bernard.

Thought it was a great premiere

Dolores seems to be going full villain what with her killing Hosts along with humans. Wonder how she decides who "deserves" to be free. The contrast between her now and in the flashbacks with Arnold at the start is another testament to how brilliant an actress Evan Rachel Wood is. I've been looking forward to seeing more of Angela too (Talulah Riley's character) so I enjoyed her appearances, I'm liking her as Dolores' psychotic top lieutenant. I was wondering why she told that one Delos guy to run, but based on her later telling Dolores they'd found something maybe they used him to lead them somewhere.

I like having a combination of scenes in the immediate aftermath of last season and scenes a couple of weeks later, it's a storytelling format I've always enjoyed so I look forward to seeing how we get to that final scene with the ocean that's come out of nowhere and dead Hosts (poor Teddy again! )

Old William's story risks being uninteresting if it's pretty much a rehash of his quest for the Maze but I'll reserve judgement until I see more of it. The scene with the young Ford Host was great though, I could definitely hear Anthony Hopkins when his voice was glitching.

The storyline I'm most interested in atm is finding out more about Delos and their secret plans, I've been intrigued about that since last season when they alluded to it a few times. I love the Drone Hosts too, creepy as hell.

Glad that Maeve's as snarky as ever, and I actually found Sizemore enjoyable They have an enjoyable dynamic.

Also it was fun seeing Floki from Vikings being so... un-Floki like as that new Delos suit, Karl.
He's a lot taller than I thought he was

It was Gav who noticed, I don't think I would have spotted it at all, I wish he hadn't though because after he said it I kept repeating everything he said in my head in Flokis voice

but also William (Ed Harris) going for another adventure again
