I would say COL1 but yeah not a house... erm... people who live in the countryside generally don't seem to care about their dogs pooing all over their kitchen floors from my experience.

My dogs allowed in the kitchen and he's never shat anywhere but outside since he's been potty trained.

I remember going to my friend's house when I was like 12 and their cat had sh*t in the bath tub and his mum hit the roof.

Then when I used their toilet a FORTNIGHT later, IT WAS STILL THERE!

It's pretty gross having animals in the place where food is prepared.

Like imagine you visited a pub/restaurant and they had their dog perched in the kitchen, I doubt you'd be too impressed. People seem to give their own pets a pass but I still think it's disgusting.

...actually, I didn't think that cats liked water to go in the bath tub...

One of my mother's friends (who must've had significant mental issues years later I've realized--she was prone to emotional meltdowns) whose kids I've known since birth let her home fall to squalor, bug infestation and all when she and her family went through some depressing times...

If you've ever seen the show Hoarders, it wasn't quite that bad (like we could clear it without a Bulldozer and might need to rent a dumpster but it would take days), but it was heading that direction quickly... she had a beautiful kitchen, with plenty of counter space and it was all covered with months worth of used pots and pans with food still in it. I felt her terrible for her really, because she had recently had an accident and was bedridden, so I stepped in to clean up and also cook for her and made her kids get off their ass and (all boys which was hell) help...

They never learned to keep a house and picked up some of her emotional problems, particularly emotional eating and anger problems. They hung onto material **** too as if it's a badge to proud of or something... I was quite angry at them for leaving their mother in that situation and not taking better care of her... but they were already too far gone tbh (late teens)... they've hardly matured since then.
