![]() Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are 'tuning the air guitars' for THIRD film t's been 27 years since their last adventure. And on Tuesday, Keanu Reeves, 53, and Alex Winter, 52, announced they'll be reprising their roles from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and its sequel Bogus Journey for Bill & Ted 3. The film will be titled Bill & Ted Face The Music, according to EW. ![]() According to EW, the film again follows the titular heroes, who are now middle-aged fathers, as they 'set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it.' 'Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends.' The film reunites the actors with the screenwriters of the first two films, Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, as well as Galaxy Quest director Dean Parisot. Around the same time as the official announcement, The Lost Boys star Winter took to social media to stoke excitement for the film. 'We're tuning the air guitars,' teased the Grand Piano actor. The original film was a modest hit, grossing $40,485,039 off an estimated $10million budget. Just the premise of the film itself makes the first two films funnier to me... Like the whole thing was that Wild Stallions were going to write a song that would unite the world in peace and make everything "excellent"... and I for some reason totally love the idea that they just procrastinated for years and didn't get around to actually doing it

New trailer.
Might be alright, but a bit weird how Bill and Ted don't seem to have changed. |

Much like Back to the Future movies, I've never seen Bill and Ted all the way through in one sitting. They're both "one of those films" which is one practically every weekend, but I've only seen random, nonsequential chunks of them about half an hour long. I can piece together the story based on what I've seen, but I've not technically watched any of them!
