“Fat and Forty”, “His overeating made him a tragic sight”

So the Sun being absolute trash isn’t just a recent thing, then?

Never thought of him being 42 when he died, it’s very young

A headline about a Duchess, wonder who that was about

...I don’t know but looking at the date... I think it might have been ‘what’ it was about, rather than ‘who‘...The Duchess of Duke Street would be my guess at what it refers to and something about that... as it was a hugely popular 1977 TV series...

Who the hell eats while sitting on the toilet

Now I'm sometimes in there for a while when I'm laying a good old pipe-blocker, but I wouldn't bring food with me!!

Did you see the whole thing there? We got the most basic tour which was still about $50 and even then the attendant said 'you don't see Elvis with this price, you only see a house' as she tried to upsell us the 70 dollar 'standard' tour

I don't remember how much we paid but we weren't given an option of a "better" tour, what extras would you get?

We went there last year....my husband is a massive Elvis fan. He was a legend. My husband gave the tour guide a run for his money...The museum has had a massive make over. The house was surprisingly small for what you would expect.
We loved every minute of our visit....

But it was really interesting and quirky, it had masses of character , not not just some bland celebrity mansion

Think you just get more information on him as a person, see some more of his personal items etc and you see his cars which weren't included in ours, maybe a proper tour guide as well whereas ours was just an audio tour

Yeah it is quite small but every room was so different and so much thought had gone into each one, I hadn't really expected much but was really impressed

Actually Memphis in general was one of my favourite parts of our trip, the live music in the bars was excellent plus we went to a basketball game which was brilliant, the atmosphere was something else

We started from New Orleans which was a cool place although we found the Main Street pretty tacky...went to Memphis then on to Chattanooga then to Atlanta. Great trip.

Ah I loved New Orleans, it is a bit seedy in places but I've never experienced anything like it for a party city. We were there on a Sunday and Monday night so weren't sure how busy it would be but the whole of Bourbon Street was jam packed still with stuff just going on everywhere, we were there a few days after Mardis Gras but half the city still seemed to be celebrating it lol

It was a bit seedy, we were there just before the presidential election and we got abused by some guy there telling us we were going to vote for Trump, he wasn't getting that we weren't actually american or voters we did meet a couple of lovely women one night though who kind of adopted us and brought us round to all the good bars

We also did Little Rock, Dallas, Austin, Houston in an RV and then flew to San Francisco
