You know my methods

CNN was thrashed so severely on social media for deceptively blaming a car for the Waukesha Christmas parade massacre instead of the repeat felon that the outlet was forced to walk back its misleading headline. Exactly a week after the tragedy in Waukesha, CNN duplicitously insinuated that a car was the cause of six deaths and 62 people being injured, including 18 children. The corporate media outlet crafted a tweet that read: "Waukesha will hold a moment of silence today, marking one week since a car drove through a city Christmas parade, killing six people and injuring scores of others." In the actual article, CNN waited until the final paragraph to mention Darrell Brooks the suspect charged with five counts of first-degree intentional homicide. A sixth count is likely after an 8-year-old died from his injuries on Tuesday. Commentators obliterated CNN for deceptively blaming a car for the massacre during Waukesha's 58th annual Christmas Parade. BlazeTV host Allie Beth Stuckey: "A car did it." Former Navy SEAL Robert J. O'Neill: "Oh snap… the car drove itself?" New York Post writer Jon Levine: "Has this car been arrested yet?" Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon: "We need answers from the manufacturer of this car. And we need laws that permit us to charge vehicles with a crime." Former New York Times writer Nellie Bowles: "Someone (Joe Rogan?) is radicalizing cars." Outkick founder Clay Travis: "Did the car have a driver @cnn? The amount of media covering for the murderer here is embarrassing." California congressional candidate Buzz Patterson: "A 'car' did this? Not a human being with intent to kill and maim and being held on $5 million bail? You guys are a joke." Conservative commentator Dinesh D'Souza: "Not a 'black leftist who supports BLM and vilifies white people.' No, this CNN headline insists it was the 'car' that drove through the parade. Now imagine how CNN would frame this if the perpetrator happened to be white." This is the second legacy media outlet to run with the deceitful narrative that a car was to blame for the Waukesha Christmas parade attack despite fully knowing that ex-convict Darrell Brooks was the suspect and was criminally charged for the deaths. On Thursday, the Washington Post ran a headline that read: "Here's what we know so far on the sequence of events that led to the Waukesha tragedy caused by a SUV."

I really don't understand the problem. The TiBB discussion thread about this says "Ford SUV plows into Wisconsin holiday parade: Some Dead". If people think the car is being blamed, well.... they're being a bit literalist.

It's deliberately done, that's what people notice. If this was a White person, the headline would be "far-right White supremacist drives through crowd of people" while this blatent racist attack by a follower of BLM is ignored for what it was. That's what most people have become aware of from a network like CNN.

"That red car just drove past again..." etc. etc. etc. I feel like "tragedy caused by an SUV" is a little harder to get your head around though . Certainly it INVOLVED an SUV but an incident can't be "caused" by an inanimate object, that wording is really very awkward, I do have to wonder why they shied away from either properly talking about the "cause" OR simply said "involving an SUV" rather than "caused by". No, I just see with my own eyes what's happening. Like those things I just mentioned. You was even joining in with them pushing the big Russia lie for 3 years on this here forum. And now it's a proven made up story, you have nothing else to say on the matter.

There was an investigation into whether or not Trump was directly involved with Russian interference geared towards helping him win. They could not prove that there was any direct, knowing involvement from the Trump camp. That is all that happened. 1) This does not mean it was "proven to be made up" - it means that there wasn't enough evidence to continue the investigation. 2) This does not mean that Russia didn't interfere - it's widely accepted that they did (and do) try to influence all Western voting events - or that they didn't favour Trump. It only means that him knowing about it and being involved in that activity was not PROVEN (again, "not proven" is not the same as "it didn't happen"). 3) I don't have "nothing else to say" on the matter at all, Russian "high tech meddling" in Western politics is very real and very interesting as a topic. Their grubby fingerprints are all over UK politics as well, and I assume most other European political events (I can't say I keep informed on those as much as I do the UK and US). However... of course everyone's "gone quiet" about it - we're not in any sort of election period right now in either country so it's not a current event. Sure a general thread on it could be interesting but there are other things going on in the world right now so it's understandable that it's not really a topic of concern? The idea that Trump is magically "coming back as President" before 2024 is purely fantasy and the idea that he's going to run then, let alone win, I find unlikely. Russians will be trying to influence either way. It's not about Trump. I know you find that concept hard to swallow. |

People try and simplify things that aren't simple in my opinion
There is all sorts of election interference going on at every level both internally and externally. Russia really don't care who wins, they want to sew discord more than anything else and they did a very good job on that on scottish independence, brexit and the US presidential elections. Fair elections and referendums are a thing of the past and we need to get used to it, because it's here to stay |

That's what I was talking about before though - when you actually take a good look at things you'll almost always find the truth somewhere in the middle ground. It'll obviously never be EXACTLY in the middle (as that would also be extreme in its own way) but, it'll be somewhere around there. But the loudest voices come from the fringes which is 70% massive exaggeration... and 29.9% complete and utter nonsense.
