Basically I saw an argument breakout on YouTube between a fan of TLOU TV Series and a hater of the TLOU.
And basically the fan used ratings to justify the quality of the Show, whilst the hater (and I mean he hated it) was using things like the pacing and dialogue against the Show, and I secretly suspect that he didn't like the Homosexuality elements either, but tbf that's speculation on my part. But in general do you think that good ratings either commercially or critically means that a TV Show is good or do you think it's always subjective? Personally I always think it's subjective, I mean me and my Mom for example have had a massive debate out of what's better between Demon Slayer's Entertainment District Arc or Only Murders In The Building (because we've been watching them at the same time) and neither of us are factually correct imo, I may be very vocal and arguably even a bit forceful with my opinions (something I actually need to work on) but deep down it's always going to come down to personal taste. For example someone for some reason could think that FBI: International is a 10/10, and they're entitled to that wrong opinion. ![]() But seriously I personally don't like the argument that Shows are factually good or bad, I think that obviously every Show has their appealing and unappealing aspects, but ultimately it's down to personal taste on if you like the overall package of the Show. Sorry for rambling on I had a lot to get off my chest. ![]() And just to clarify I haven't watched TLOU yet, but I did like the first Game.
