Lathering up and have a shave as well, like I have never seen a woman shave her legs in a gym changing room, this person was there to intimidate, if you really consider yourself a woman, shaving in full view is not conducive to being viewed as one, it is an odd thing to do...

It's just needless and I don't really buy that anyone wouldn't know it was needless... so the only realistic conclusion is that they were doing it pointedly/performatively. There's no real reason for anyone to be shaving any part of themselves in a public area... kind of gross actually... if you get a li'l cut in a public changing room it's probably going to immediately become infected.

I can even understand where she's coming from on some of her points, however I hate the Right's thing of labeling or insinuating that LGBT people are Paedophiles, with no real hard evidence to suggest it to be the case.

But being serious, I honestly believe that women should be being asked by the Government how they personally feel about Transwomen using their facilities, and whatever the result, that's the course of action to take going forward.

Because after all when it's coming to this topic, I have no personal stake in the issue, and tbh no guy has a stake in this particular topic, because we're not going through it, and obviously the Transwomen will be biased to their own cause, so they're not going to be impartial. And the Government shouldn't force policies onto it's citizens (in this case women) if potentially the majority of women may not want to be apart of said policy.

Ironically the one issue that should be approached with a feminist mindset, isn't being approached that way, it's typical of Humanity to be so ****ed up like that.

The problem is that absolutely anyone who simply says "I identify as a woman" can enter female spaces where girls and women are in vulnerable positions/a state of undress. It is mind blowing to me that people are pretending like this loophole isn't going to be taken advantage of by predatory men. The whole reason to stop all men from entering is to protect all women from the bad ones. This is what safe guarding is and why sex segregated spaces exist in the first place in these types of places where women are particularly vulnerable and at risk.

No she just both looks and sounds a bit like him (and is right-leaning, though not as much as Shapiro) so it's a commonly made joke that she's Shapiro's drag alter-ego.

I agree that less savoury characters on the right have a tendency to imply that LGBT people are more likely to be paedophiles which is (obviously) nonsense. It bears acknowledging that the simple fact is, most paedophiles by number are straight men. That's just the facts.

The major issue though is that - at this point unquestionably - there are attempts made BY paedophiles to abuse/twist laws and rights designed to protect LGBT people to use as a shield for their own actions. THere are multiple examples at this point and really - just using common sense - of course people with ill intent will try to find ways to use any new rule or law to their advantage.

Taking a deeper dive there are also some issues with certain sections of the trans community and autogynephilia/fetishisation of children or child-like qualities. There just... are. The LGBT community itself knows this fine well but (for I suppose obvious reasons) are hesitant to admit it.

So this is a really complicated thing and I can understand all views.

I think planet fitness is wrong for firing the woman who reported the ‘trans woman’ in the bathroom.

We need sex based changing rooms for a reason. I remember saying this on here years ago and I was told how awful I was etc etc. but I don’t care lol

As someone if the lgbt community, I believe that everyone should feel safe enough to go to the bathroom and not be harassed

Of course this includes (actual) trans women. I think there should be a ‘family/gender friendly’ bathroom which is private and anyone can change there if needs be.

I think that they (cis men) who are doing this know they can take advantage of the system and they are ruining it for genuine trans women.

I don’t know a single woman (cis or trans) that would just start shaving in public. It’s just not something you do. I also don’t know any trans women that would go out and purposefully ‘expose’ themselves in a women’s restroom. Most would go and change in a bathroom stall and then just leave…

So now the issue is that there are without a doubt a number of men who are using ‘trans woman!!’ as an excuse to be perverts.

And the only people who really suffer from all of this are cis/genuine trans women.

It’s just crazy that something as simple as getting changed or going to the bathroom has become such a politics point that people are losing friendships/jobs etc just because of a damn opinion

I think this is accurate but also, unfortunately, without sensible safeguarding and controls it just doesn't matter. In a world where one is not able to call out the difference between genuine and not and it's seen as a terrible judgement to do so... it doesn't functionally matter if they're genuine or not. They're allowed to be there because self-ID is a thing so there's no way to immediately differentiate.

Exactly. The only way to keep the bad men out is to ban all men otherwise (as is the case now) women don't even have the ability to raise concerns or objections, a guy can go in there as we see here literally shaving his beard in the sink and a woman gets banned for pointing out he shouldn't be in there. It's crazy.
