...because they're always on telly around Christmas time?
(sorry for the longest thread title ever) For me, Uncle Buck and Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Both with the excellent John Candy. I always thought Planes, Trains and Automobiles was a Christmas movie but i was online gaming with one of my American mates the other day, and she was like "you dumbass, it's a Thanksgiving movie"  And it is, it just has such a Christmasy feel though.
