Yip I know what you mean. I'm kind of hoping my cogh/chest infection gets really bad as that'll maybe encourage me to get back onto the patches.. Mind you last time I ended up completely addicted to them and couldn't seem to wean myself off as easily as i did the first time. I ended up having to wear two!!

I am so so so so so so so so so nervous, I've asked to leave work this afternoon so I could finish my powerpoint thing and train.
This is it man ! I am 100% confident I will end up as best student of the degree like I did last year but it's still nerve racking.

When the other day, my colleague and I went out for lunch, we saw a man came into our building, she said it was Richard Hammond from TV's Top Gear.

I took an express train from Kings Cross as usual. I normally change at Finsbury Park to slow one.

But today I fall sleep and when I realised it was too late and next stop was Stevenage!
Then a ticket inspector arrived.
Luckily she accepted my explanation and let me off paying penalty.

I woke up at the other end of the bridge only to realise it was a different bridge (Tay Bridge). Missed my stop by 20 miles and penniless in Dundee - had to call my father to come collect @ 2am

Another time at late night after the office Xmas party, I had to use a cab home from a station I never heard of it.

Another time I made a trip to Torquay (sort of carer's break while my husband was in the hospital - not serious one) ended up to Plymouth!

At another thread, members were discussing about quality and quantity.

It reminded me of something.

My husband and I used to go to a hall to practice dancing after work.
A retired dance teacher was running the place.

Normally there are about 20 social dancing couples like us and few competitors.
If we dance quick step, competitors would dance like bullet train and we are like bicycle.

One night, surprisingly there were only few social dancers and quite many competitors. It was a Blackpool Dance Week and many dancers had gone there. Competitors were preparing for the Blackpool.

I said to the dance teacher "it is very quiet tonight?"
He replied. "Quality tonight, not quantity" :conf2:

I saw an thread the other day talking about house securities.

We hardly locked our house (bungalow) until this particular night.
I could not see why a burglar should choose our house to burgle.

Around 5 years ago, after midnight suddenly men entered our bedroom using a torch. I woke up by noise, men's voice saying "Obviously somebody live here". And left through the kitchen where the door was not locked.

My husband said they were police. We have been wondering why they came to our house.

Apparently my next door neighbour called a police the night, when they saw their neighbour's (other side) house had a light. They were renovating their house and nobody was living at that time. So they thought next door had burglar.
They called the police. When they arrived, instead of going to the left side of the neighbour, they came to my house which was the right side.
Anyway reason of the house light was we were told that the builder had forgotten to switch the light off before they went home.

Nevertheless we never forget to lock the door before going to bed after that night.
