Lady Gaga will be releasing a documentary to accompany her upcoming album, Joanne, which drops this Friday. The film will reportedly follow the singer throughout the process of creating her new record. It's unclear when the documentary will be released, but it's possible it could premiere at the same time the album does.

Since the other thread took this completely out of context and misquoted her, I thought I'd make a thread with the real quote.

She was talking about the song Angel Down with Zane Lowe, and she mentioned that it was inspired by Trayvon Martin's shooting. She said that in that moment, when things like that were going on in the world, it felt wrong for her to write a song about twerking.

She also mentioned that she's done those records, she LOVES those records and she will be singing them until she's 90. But at that moment in time, with the platform she has, she felt it important to speak up and write about an important issue.

Joanne's just clicked with me, idk why
I get it, and it's been getting better for me the more I've listened. It's not perfect and there's a couple of songs I'll happily skip but at it's best it's excellent imo.

Hey Girl is the only one I really don't like, I can't believe Florence and Gaga coming together could produce something so nothing :worry: I still think Million Reasons is a good song but it's gotton kinda boring after a few listens, and Diamond Heart is just ok. Everything else I love though :love:

I don't dislike it or anything :laugh: I just find it a bit average and it's lost any replay value for me. It's listenable enough and everything but nothing special... in me humbles onion ofc.

Maybe I need to listen to Hey Girl more :think: I've only listened to it like twice I think because I was so unimpressed I keep skipping it :laugh: and I haven't heard Just Another Day/GG because the link to them expired before I had chance to download them. I'd say everything from AYO to Sinners Prayer on my list is pretty much interchangeable depending on my mood (which I think is another reason why it's such a good album), but that's my general order I think.

I still don't know if I like it more/less than TFM, it's so different, and that album has loads of nostalgia for me, but I'm probably listening to it just as much as I did with that one.
