I think that if they don't do it on Sunday, Paige is going to heel turn on the after Battleground Raw in a tag match.

Bray has lost quite a few PPV matches lately. He is such a fantastic character & I just don't know what the point is in bringing Jericho back to beat him when he already lost to Cena.
Plus, are the Usos the tag team version of Cena ?. They always win the big matches. Harper & Rowen would make great tag champs.

I just really hope that Bray get's a huge push later this summer. Since the Shield split Bray Wyatt is one of the few good thing going on right now.
The looming Cena V Brock rivalry is already sending me into a coma :sleep:
The Wyatt's are great to watch. Y2J will put over Bray in the coming months but I just think it would have made it more interesting to have him lose to Bray first so soon after Bray lost to Cena.

Right. Thoughts on Battleground and other things that have been mentioned in the thread time. Thought it was a relatively good PPV tbqh with you, certainly not a terrible one like I've seen the majority suggest, I'll do it in match order because that is easiest way I guess.

Usos/Wyatt's - ****ing superb opener, probably the best tag team match of the year, probably the best tag team match since last Battleground with Shield/Rhodes Bros actually.

Rollins/Ambrose - Better to do it this way, gives Rollins heat by claiming he beat Ambrose because he was 'escorted' out, loved their brawls throughout the night, Ambrose getting out of the car boot was amazing :laugh:, I'm glad they didn't give this away on a B PPV, they need to sell Summerslam, this will help do it.

Paige/AJ - Bit sloppy, a good divas match though, but we know they can do better, fully expect it to get more heated once Paige turns heel in the next few weeks and gets more character out, I expect a better match though from them at Summerslam, loved the shining wizard.

Rusev/Swagger - (I think this was next anyway) oh Lana, you goddess, total heat magnet, didn't see the problem with the cutting of the promo at all, they were doing what they do every week, if she said 'hahaha plane got shot down hahaha people died' might have had an issue. I love big guys twatting each other, my favourite style atm, Harper does it brilliantly, can't wait until he joins them. Elevates Swagger as a babyface more and at this stage, would not be shocked if he went over Rusev at Summerslam, I can see this carrying on anyway, not here for Big Slow the momentum killer.

Jericho/Wyatt - Probably the worst match of the night, I expected a lot more from them considering they had a stellar match on NXT last year before Bray joined the roster. It was slow, it was dull, something was just off, I don't know what, I don't think Bray is being buried at all. The fact reports have come out just this weekend showcasing his brilliant attitude after Flair ****ed up his eye tells me that backstage are into a guy like that, Jericho needs to go over once in a while, keep his credibility intact, the guy was losing to Fandango at Mania last year, better for Bray to go over at Summerslam, I don't think this is the end, he's 26.

Battle Royal - I was most excited at the fact that Sandow didn't get eliminated first, ****ing Ziggler eliminating Bo. Miz is a decent heel, just ****s me off that he gets no reaction and wins. Not here for them unifying the midcard titles with Miz/Sheamus at Summerslam, there is far too much talent on this roster for just one midcard and one main title, ridiculous. LOL at the people saying 'ZIGGLER IS BURIED' when he was in the final 2 and got screwed over last second and eliminated the US champion. Marks.

Cena had to win, sorry there was no other way about it, 47 year old Kane winning the main belt doesn't work in 2014, far too early for Reigns, he'll have his moment at Mania and they weren't doing heel Orton vs heel Lesnar. Besides Lesnar/Cena have chemistry, their match at Extreme Rules last year was one of the best matches of the last 5 years.

This PPV was such a let down for me.
Paige looks super nervous lately. Plus her character development has been poor.
The Y2J/Bray match was below par (For them). But I love both of them so much I still enjoyed watching their match.
The Cena thing is kind of a tough one. I'm not a Cena fan but who else can carry the belt right now ?. Orton is boring. Reigns is not ready. Bryan is injured. Punk is gone.
If the WWE had worked harder with the likes of Dolph, Sandow & The Miz they would have had several options for a Champion when Bryan got hurt.
The WWE have a habit of burying real future talent then are stuck when their top stars get injured.
The Cena/Brock match could happen without a belt on the line. But now we are stuck with it :bawling:

It's amazing what a bit of character development can do. Xavier went from least interesting talent on the main roster to one of the most in 5 minutes and heel Kofi could never be a bad thing.
