The only thing I would say about the news coverage of accidents and disasters at the moment - with the helicopter crash, of course it's going to be covered ALOT, it's a big accident and it's local to us and alot of people care (me included), and the Paul Walker one of course, that's tragic and I can see why people are distraught about that too..

But then...the news then start to pick up on every minor/major accident over the world and then people begin to think it's a new sort of epidemic, it's not, accidents happen all of the time, multiple people die in accidents all of the time..so I guess I just get annoyed when the news just start picking up on accidents out of the blue just because of one major news story, and then people thinking along the lines of ''what's with all the accidents at the moment''

this sudden obsession i've developped for avenged sevenfold in the last 2 days is not healthy. :conf: Literally they're the only band i've cared about in the last 2 days. I knew of them before but I never really listened because I thought they were too hardcore for me, but in the last 2 days been obsessed with them, their background. Love it. Friends that grew up together, jamming together, formed a band and went on to become one of the most successful bands today.
But they lost their "heart" of the group in 2009, the REV aaw and I have been obsessed with the song they dedicated to him. When he died they thought about quitting music and just spend weeks locked inside mourning the rev. 2 of the band members are married to twins that they've known for years...aah there's just so much amazingness! :D Not to mention they're all quite fine! :D

Whenever I come home after a period of time away (being at uni), I'm always allergic to my cat for a little while and it's really annoying - if I touch her then I start to break out in hives that go down after a couple of hours, or it irritates my contact lenses. Agreed, I paid 15 quid for mine though and they are fantastic, lose no clarity no matter what the volume is and the bass is amazing.

Science isn't anything to believe in as it's based on evidence and empirical data. Every time you get on an airplane or trust a light switch not to blow you up, you're believing in science.

All atheist means when you strip the word down is a lack of belief in god. It doesn't mean that their thinking is sound in other areas (like science). You can still get atheists that believe in the power of crystals and alternative medicine.

My mattress. It never bothered me before but I think since I've been ill, I've become acutely aware of the springs in my mattress digging into my body which isn't good when I've got a cyst on the back of my head so I have to sleep on my sides, and both my spleen and liver are inflamed and could burst if too much pressure is applied on them or they're suddenly bumped... sleeping is AWFUL. Sleeping on my side is making me feel sick as a result, I'm kept awake until the early hours and then wake up late - today I woke up at midday... ugh

Nah, then I'd be putting pressure on both at the same time :( it's a bit rubbish. I'm gonna investigate to see if there's anything I could put in my bed that I can lie on top of that would stop the springs digging into me. No I'm being serious! Probably be like this for another few weeks; was told to avoid contact sports and any situations where I could risk bumping my stomach - one of my friends is having his birthday night out on the 28th so I can't go to that (no alcohol; can't risk going to a night club what with people elbow barging etc) and won't be drinking at New Year in case I get drunk and do something silly, you just never know...
