What a game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were unbelievable, Santi, Le Coq and the back 4 especially. Don't think i felt worried at all during the game, City were no real threat at all, the silence from the fans doesnt help them either.. Our away fans bringing some much needed atmosphere to the Etihad. Cazorla is ****ing unreal & Bellerin is showing some great potential. The top 4 curse has finally ended.

Can't imagine a more depressing team to play for or support than Villa

Drew.

Delph showing a nice bit of loyalty. I imagine he'll still be off within the next year or two, at least the club can get some money now

Locke.

For **** sake, Sakho out of the West Ham game. Losing our best defender and one of our 2 worst defenders taking his place (Johnson/Lovren). Thank god Sturridge should be on the bench to bail us out if needed

Drew.
31-01-2015, 04:24 PM
Kane with his 20th goal of the season, can't argue with him getting an International call up.

Sturridge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God bless this man, amazing how we suddenly turned into a huge threat infront of goal as soon as he came on, linked up brilliantly with Coutinho, Sterling and Lallana.

Our easiest win in this streak as well, West Ham were more interested in having a few wrestling matches than trying to pick up any points.

Really makes you wonder where we'd have been with a fit Sturridge. Missing almost 20 games, I definitely believe he could have won us at least the extra 5-6 points we'd need to currently be in the top 4.

So happy he's back.

Ozil brilliant & a worthy MOTM, Walcott finally bagging one after his injury, Le Coq great again, Ospina > Chesney, Bellerin proving hes going to be one of the best right backs in the world in the future & Akpom showing amazing potential. All of this without Alexis. What a great day. Bring on those Spurs pricks.

Dominated yesterday, just isn't possible to score against a team if they have every man behind the ball for 90 minutes.

More worrying than the result though is Lucas going off injured.. will have no hope for top 4 without him

MTVN
08-02-2015, 05:05 PM
So by my count that's a deliberate elbow from Van Persie, a leg breaker from Jones, a penalty on Valencia, two shocking challenges from Rojos and numerous other dirty tackles from the Mancs. Still all over them as well, they're very lucky to be level

Thank god for that. Let in a sloppy goal in the 93rd minute and they hit the post in the 94th.

Chambers won't make it as a right back, far too slow and gets caught out of position all the time. Much more solid playing as a centre back. Ozils injury was a blessing in disguise.. He's much more bulky now and looks like the player he was at Madrid. United slipping back down the table :xyxwave:

What a performance. Allen and Hendo were brilliant in the center, Coutinho continuing to go down as one of the best players in this league, Sterling and Lallana looking a threat on every attack and apart from one or two dodgy moments in the first half the defence was solid as well. Totally outplayed City. That is 9 points now from the last 3 games against City, Southampton and Spurs.. the march goes on.

All this earlier in the season about how dumb West Ham fans were last year for wanting him out and now look, we are just gonna end up the same way as we were the last season. There have been positives this season but they're not cos of Sam, e.g. he was told to try play better football or he'd lose his job, the board took more control over transfers bringing in someone like Sakho when Sam didn't want him. Like the bloke and appreciate what he's done for us, but there's no reason to keep him on after this season

Dawson fouled Bony as last man but McAuley got sent off. Bony did manage to stay on his feet after the foul and then also got fouled by McAuley but that was in the area and the ref had already blown for a free kick so there's no way that it was McAuley's second foul which he was penalising. Very bizarre.

Utd scraping a win against us with 10 men, they'll drop a few points between now and May. Absolutely must beat Arsenal next week though. Stupid red for Gerrard, a moment of madness and it probably cost us getting back in that game, even if we did play better with 10 men you'd expect us to create more with the extra man on the field than we did without him.

Awful refeering as well, the red card was a correct decision and so was the penalty but Jones should have got a yellow for obliterating Lallana in the first half and followed it up with a second yellow that he got in the 2nd half, Fellaini was his usually disgusting **** of a human being and gets away without a card again.. ridiculous really but we were terrible today anyway

Ozil & Cazorla play as attacking midfielders for you, do they not? He is better than the rest of that motley crew

Drew.
05-04-2015, 12:47 PM
I didn't even take Ozil and Santi into consideration when i read your post, but now you mention them it becomes even more laughable.

Wilshere played with Hendo in a few internationals last year and i''m sure he came away with about 3 or 4 MOTM awards in a row whilst Hendo was being given 4/10 ratings by the journalists. He hasn't progressed that well recently but hes still miles ahead of Hendo.

As far Ramsey, twice the player Hendo will ever be.. Even Le Coq who is statistically the best CDM in Europe this year > Hendo.

Locke.
05-04-2015, 12:49 PM
Wilshere is nowhere near Hendo. Wilshere is a joke to everyone that isn't an Arsenal fan.

You have a fair point with Ramsey but he isn't quite at Hendo's level just yet, maybe in a few years. Coquelin has been in the team for about 10 games, if we're going by that then Flanagan is the best full back in the world too

Drew.
05-04-2015, 12:55 PM
2 England games without Wilshere and the country are already crying out for Jacks return in midfield, Hendo was useless. Everyone just dislikes him for who he is, he's still the best midfielder this country has now.

Ramsey > Hendo isn't even debatable though. Le Coq has played about 20 games and has been consistent in every single one of them, part of the reason we've won 10 league games out of 11 or 12 since his return, then again hes a completely different player so its hard to compare them but still, he's much better.

Locke.
05-04-2015, 12:59 PM
Nobody cares about England anyway, Wilshere, Hendo, the whole squad don't turn up when it matters in the major tournaments. The glorified friendlies we play to qualify don't mean ****.

Only David Silva has completed more Premier League passes in 2015 so far (613) than Jordan Henderson (552).

Looking forward to Silva joining in the summer after we take City's CL place from them and having to two most successful passers in the league guide us to that title.

Drew.
05-04-2015, 01:00 PM
Doesn't matter if nobody cares, he's still been the best player on the pitch when hes played alongside Hendo.

Locke.
