Henderson is better than Wilshere. Carrick is better than both.
Coq and Ramsay are levels ahead of Henerson though. Debate settled lads.

I don't really mind Palace as a club tbf. Great fans.
They got lucky with first goal and that second one was a farce with Hart. We got robbed of a handball though. But no excuses. It seems like the era has come to a close. Sad times. I dread the thought of 4th. With how ****e we are in Europe I'd worry we won't qualify.
Drew.
06-04-2015, 09:59 PM
Your remaining away games all look like games you could easily lose at the moment, Southampton are probably the only real test you've got at home but suddenly Liverpool have got a really slim chance of catching up.

It's going to be an incredibly difficult task even if Utd do beat City. The way we've played lately we aren't even going to win half of those games, nevermind all. We need to change the 3-5-1-1 system we've been using, teams have started to work out how to play against it and it doesn't fit our best player anyway (Studge).
City do look like they'll keep dropping points but we're running out of games and still have to go to Stamford Bridge & play our bogey team, Palace.. Still looks a near on impossible task, even if we do cut it down to 4 points next week
Samuel.

It's been two bad games against top opposition, after being the most in form team in the league. We have relatively easy games against Blackburn and Newcastle next as a platform to get back in form for the remaining games. It'll obviously need a huge amount of luck to finish top four, but I don't think it's as nearly as impossible as you're suggesting.
Locke.
06-04-2015, 10:45 PM
We haven't been playing well for a month or so though, the Blackburn game, the Europa games, even the win against Swansea was a poor performance. Maybe with Lucas back in and moving Sterling back up to part of the front 3 instead of wing back would fix that, but maybe not. We'll need to change the system for Blackburn anyway because it will be suicide playing the back 3 with Lovren and Toure in place of Skrtel and Can. If that works we should stick with it for Newcastle and see where we can go from there.

"He's good enough for United. He's told me he is thinking things over. We are looking in the market ourselves" - Klopp on Hummels.
I think Hummels and Depay will be here next season. Personally find Hummels over rated, but everyone seems to think he's amazing so whatever

All Giggs got was an ovation when he came on as a sub in his last home match.

Its not like gerrard won't come back on loan in jan anyway.

Could see this, being as emotionally charged as it is, being enough for the owners to sack Rodgers tbh
On its own of course its no reason to sack a manager, it's basically a friendly, but I reckon it might have been that little extra they needed to convince themselves change is needed
I think he deserves another season, but wouldn't be against a change.

Locke.
16-05-2015, 08:37 PM
Not bothered about the result today (although obviously it highlighted what a load of **** we've currently got playing for us), it was all about the occasion. It's going to be very strange playing without Stevie, for a lot of our fans including myself we've only ever known a Liverpool with Steven Gerrard.. going into next season without a local lad starting week in week out will be so weird. He pretty much has been Liverpool over all these years I've been a supporter, and even this season when his form has tailed off a fair bit he is still finishing the season as our top scorer.
Great send off though. It wouldn't feel right him coming back on loan after that, we should wait now until he ends his playing career and get him back as a coach.
Thanks for all the memories :worship:

I'd have liked to see a win for Liverpool with a goal scored by Gerrard for his last home game.
For me, he is an amazing ambassador for football and Liverpool football club,a brilliant talent and good luck to him in all he does from now.
This is said of many players but in his case it really is valid in my opinion
It will not be the same not hearing his name in match reports now as to Liverpool,so strong has been his presence.
