The Vanessa/Makosi & Gerry/Carole ones still had public votes though - and Sam was actually one of the few positive things about BB16 for a lot of viewers, and Danielle was a great housemate robbed by 2 people she barely knew. The only good result is Marlon, and even then Ashleigh was nearly evicted.

And of course the track record for public votes will be worse when there's only been 3 (or 5) non-public evictions in the shows history? :joker:

Hm well I'll have to take your word for it but that sounds more like them complaining about the unfairness of the twist than the fact it was her evicted, cause let's face it they're not gonna be a fan of non-public vote evictions

But it was still his fault for getting nominated by so many! I mean obviously the existing BBUK game is nowhere near as clear cut as it is in NA, and the rules under which he left aren't something I'd choose to adopt, but at a basic level it's still pretty much a lack of a poor social game, which is his fault and no one else's. I can take people being evicted if it's through their own doing far more than I can if it's just because the moronic public doesn't like them for not meeting some standardised criteria. Plus dare I say he probably wouldn't have been evicted by the public so this was actually a win in that regard.

As for Sam and Danielle, I wouldn't say their evictions had anything to do with them being a woman. Had it been the public though it probably would've been

It all sounds great on paper but as we know, TPTB aren't too skilled with execution. I'd be astonished if they don't use the extension to its fullest potential and instead just use it for a few weeks then have everyone in the main house. Really, it is the perfect size for a jury house - not that it will ever happen. Maybe when Big Brother comes to Netflix in 2019 with multiple live feeds. :D

I think the idea is really interesting but it depends on the type of housemates we get. It also sounds potentially brutal - are we talking ex boyfriends and girlfriends and estranged family members battling it out for a place in the house??
I also can't see how they think the other house will be a secret? The 2nd house has been heavily rumoured since the day after January's CBB?
I am excited though. I was worried that I'd absolutely hate the idea but I'm suitably intrigued. I just hope for the love of god they don't **** it up.

The best scenario for me is that there are ex housemates returning but only ones who weren't in previous series for long and maybe deserve a 2nd chance to earn their spot back in the house. Voting for those we want to return to the second house would be alright as well

It'd be great if they suddenly were like "here, have the Live Feed back", but it's not going to happen :laugh:. That page is so when the banner shows up, the app can show the Channel 5 simulcast (on the website the player just pops up when you click the banner).
