The biggest scandal which I've talked about repeatedly on here is that migrants go to the top of the housing queue. In fact there is no queue for them.

Some UK born people have been on the housing list for over a decade. No chance of a property no matter if they're homeless or not.

This is the appalling situation in this country. It's insane the UK allows British born people to live in squalor, or on the streets.

Yet those who break into the country are well looked after. :fist:

Most disgusting thing for me is the 10 mill mentioned to upgrade the old Inverness barracks and family living quarters to house them in when there are ex servicemen from those same barracks left destitute on the streets.

There is no excuse!

My blood boils whenever I see an advert from Crisis or the Salvation Army, about homelessness in this cold weather. It makes me think of the young men from vastly different cultures to our own, from God knows where, who have never, and probably will never, contribute anything to this country, laying in warm hotel rooms wrapped in high thread-count sheets while our own people sleep on the street. Why isn't the Left worried about them? Why aren't they as vociferous in their support for them, I wonder?

Because the BBC care more about young Muslim foreign men than they do about British women and girls. Otherwise, they'd surely report on the rapes and sexual assaults that happen rather than leaving it to other news providers.

Yeah

A few days ago I was just locking up at bedtime when the wind was getting up, blowing plastic plant pots around , it was freezing cold, driving rain that looked like sleet and my thoughts went straight to all the homeless guys living rough in back streets or church graveyards.

How on earth do they survive each night getting so wet and cold and not being able to dry out or get warm ..,then later begging for money for food .. then it’s soon bedtime again

Soooo sad

Homelessness shames us as a country. Why are the "refugees are welcome here" mob more interested in illegals than our own homeless? And it's very easy to become homeless... a marriage breakup, the loss of a job, it's a case of there but for the grace of God so so many people.
