Enjoyed Dev, Michelle, Kelvin and Catherine the most tonight.

Karim was a mess and some of the costuming was frankly embarrassing tonight (that pikachu was horrific).

Worst performers were obviously Anneka and David but everyone is putting on a pretty decent show.

Just don't get any charisma or entertainment from Will, Saffron, Emma W or David tbh. Any of those can go. And i get strong arrogance vibes from Karim too so he can be the series' shock-chop pls.

my thoughts and scores of the evening, I enjoyed movie week a lot, great opening group dance too (loved the characters of up, toy story too) and anton as mr incredible LOL

Michelle & Gio: great opening of the show, technically good and entertainment value pure class 9

Alex & Neil: romantic charming Disney rumba, also loved the barefeet detail :flutter: 8

Chris & Karen: WTF where were the lifts, this was underwhelming but i thought it was okayish danced 6

Karim & Amy: this was fun, slightly undermarked i thought, and what was Shirley on about, that vile woman with her silly judging, i saw samba rolls (pretty good if you ask me) some volta's which were also decent 8

Cath & Johannes: OH YES OH YES i knew it, this was GOOOOD, it made me stand up, it was emotional it was final worthy performance 9

Will & Janette: Unique performance, Originality at its finest, 10 WOW :worship: i don't care about paso technique but this was a proper poké doble

Kelvin & Oti: it lacked some swivel for me personally, it did have the quirky moves but it wasn't as great or perfect as judges made out 8

Posh Emma & Aljaz: good improvement from the tango, i felt the emotion from this downton abbey foxtrot, also good bit of rise and fall and i love how aljaz with his fave dance throws in all sorts of foxtrot techniques which he knows judges will look for 7

Anneka & Kevin: the stick had more rhythm than you Anneka my dear, standing still multiple times, no swivels, flat footed this was a disaster 1

Saffron & AJ: storytelling was fab, perfectly in character of Katniss, good paso technique 9

Mike & Katya: wooden, flat footed, unfunny, lacklustre 2

David & Nadiya: beautiful performance, a improvement from his first 2 weeks 6

Emma B & Anton: mediocre salsa, not good but not a disaster either 5

Dev & Dianne: Loved Loved Loved it, good dance to close the show 9

Streetdance is technically difficult though, you have to be in sync all the time with your dance partner, if it goes off once it already isn't perfect anymore

everything needs precision


i gave Dev a 9 because i thought he did most of that really well, maybe one bit wasn't in sync with Dianne idk but i thought if judges should've given any 10's it should've been here, and not for kelvin

my scores of last night, in alphabetical order (and my honest scores for anyone who accused me of trolling :rolleyes: )

Alex: it was ok, middle of the road, i think she made a mistake near the end, Judges might've been correct about that idk, 7

Catherine: PERFECTION, A-MA-ZING Charleston 10

Chris: phenomenal way to open a show, amazing technique too for a beginner, and great performance, love a bit of camp on Chris, with that elton style outfit 9

David: what a improvement 7

Dev: disastrous outfits, same colour as backdrop, also dianne in red dress with her own red hair isn't that appealing either, i more thought of this performance as Tango, not cha cha in some bits, and the cha cha bits were a bit wooden i thought not your finest hour 4

Emma B: it might've been a proper viennese waltz, but it lacked something for me, anton was great, i expected proper viennese from him, as we know what he did with katie derham, but katie's VW i still prefer over this one 7

Emma W: dynamic performance, also some exciting tricks there, very brave of her and i thought she was in sync with aljaz with the kicks, flicks even though some can say aljaz was faster, but i looked at it closely, and she was in sync FAB 8

Karim: it was nice i guess 8

Kelvin: HIPS were on FIRE, oh god i was like almost drooling over how HOT that was, LOVE IT, Oti has got a true contender, danny mac eat your heart out 10

Michelle: judges liked it, i and my dad were a bit what am i seeing what isn't very appealing, craig said it, it lacked some hip action here and there, also Gio was outdancing Michelle a bit, and La Visage looked like a drag queen herself in that costume but that i did appreciate :flutter: dance wise average, less than your quickstep, a lot for me personally a shame 5

Mike: best performance of him to date, but wtf motsi, no way a 9, it was decent but not standout 7

Saffron: some parts weren't in sync with each other, and i agree with Craig, she could've taken a lot more risks, be more braver, this couple choice is more like a freestyle, contemporary you can go anywhere with in terms of storytelling, performing this was bland, danced well but bland 6

Will: flamenco foxtrot WTF janette, flamenco is paso nothing ballroom, and you've done it again, same what you did to aston, also will's top line looks robotic, very unappealing, quite wooden in his footwork, overmarked too by judges 5

...Kelvin is a great dancer for sure...:love:...but for me, his 10s are a bit baffling...there is something a little ‘vacant’ for me...as if he’s so focused on his precision and technique that some of the natural heart and rhythm leaves the performance, which I presume he has...it was strangely commented on with Michelle, that her natural rhythm could be brought to her performance more...but I don’t see it there with Kelvin, so I’m a bit baffled by his perfect scores...

I agree. He doesn't get me excited, like some of the others do. I need to see the passion as well as the dancing.

he's not elegant enough for that, also you need loads of finesse for that

even saffron struggled with contemporary, and i rate her higher than Will, dance quality wise


Alex possibly doing charleston, she's wooden, i don't know if she's able to pull off a good charleston, but then again even bad quality charlestons have proven to be entertaining ;)


Michelle doing rumba :(, her hips even more exposed than in the salsa and in salsa i already found it lacking hip action, bit stiff i mean while Gio's hips were clearly visible and on point

viennese waltz to a whitney tune :hee: glad she's back at ballroom, her more stronger area, even though it was nice to see some fun side of her either, i agree with Artem there, he appreciated her Jive, with the fun and quite technically difficult tricks :love:

her training bit of VW looked great, i definitely prefer a more natural ballroom hold, head position, flower in vase shape, her head looks natural, nothing over stretched, which isn't good either as Darcey would say

my thoughts seeing training footage, performance talks, who might be in danger zone

Michelle & Gio, having struggled this week with rumba, not the only one anyway out of female celebs who struggle with rumba, + americans and GBP isn't helpful either

Cath & Johannes, flying in a tango, ummm that has nothing to do with tango, and she needs to showcase a basic standard ballroom first of all, since her last ballroom she did, didn't end too well in week 1 remember, bad choices there

Saffron, she struggled with foxtrot, bit of injury worries but she's fine, so i hope they didn't miss as much training, since i think they needed all the hours here

David, his jive looked decent, but behind on most of the other couples, bar Mike and Katya ofc

Mike, wishful thinking i want him gone, and not another better couple who gives me more effort, better dancing, but shame he got the dad fanbase :idc: the dads should really support David instead who puts more effort in technique, actual dancing

Viscountess Emma, due to lacking a fanbase, but her VW training looked good so i am hoping she'll be high enough on leaderboard to keep her safe, many on bbc blogs like her though

Alex and Neil, she needs that wow moment and she needs that soon, public can't save your arse all the time, they aren't eternally forgiving, charleston is a crowdpleasing dance apart from Anneka then or another no hoper like tony jacklin, gregg wallace, kirsty Gallagher who all went out on charleston

Chris and Karen, his quickstep training, he looked worse than David, but i guess he is safe because of likeability, fun factor and i 100% prefer Chris to Mike
