Tbh it was a well deserved win for Kelvin tonight.

I would've preferred Karim to win, but Kelvin's Showdance and Samba were very strong tonight imo.

Also with all due respect to Emma B, I didn't want the EastEnders fans to troll her to the win when imo she didn't deserve it.

I didn't have anything against her , but imo Kelvin & Karim were stronger!:shrug:. Plus i didn't want her to win just because of the "journey" and because Anton hasn't won etc the hype of that :rolleyes: .

Kelvin & Karim had some dance background so what? .And Emma B is an actress and has likely gone to stage school so i don't see what the problem is :shrug: , every year this same tiresome argument get's brought up about who's more "experienced" in dancing than others. At the end of the day they'll always be a few with some advantage due to their career or fitness.

If people want a competition full of dance virgins and zero experience with 2 left feet and stiff as a board , then all we'd have is Judy Murray's and Ed Balls'.

Biut people always complain or moan about certain celebs having dance experience when strictly asked them to be on the show in the first place .

But it's not like Emma was like Chris , she was a decent dancer but just had some off performances.

Damn it this is what you get for going out when strictly is on. Havent watched the final yet but found out off insta who won. Im over the moon but gutted i didnt get to find out how i should have!!! Look forward to watching it tomorrow though

I know they do but for some reason Karim never got the slack Ashley,Faye,Debbie,Alexandra and Danny got.

tbf winners since Joe had off performances but got better but they won because experience dancers got slack and they had the progress the fans love which is why i found Kelvin's popularity a bit odd because he hasn't had that journey.

Kelvin challenged himself the most out of the 3 finalists honestly

with Samba (many had gone out on that dance and he just chooses that for the final as his favourite dance while he had higher scoring routines)

and that showdance, omg it had ballroom tango, bit of argentine tango (a dance which he hadn't even done fully), Jive, quickstep, charleston


while Karim chose the safer option with his 40 Jive while if he had balls he could've gone for his viennese waltz to try and improve from last time


Emma's was too safe into musical theatre with showdance



so yeah overall i agreed with my dad that Kelvin was a worthy winner

that's probably why he didn't win but he didn't get the slack like others did but anyway out of the 3 i think Kelvin and Emma deserved it the most. Karim's showdance was a repeat of his couples choice and i didn't feel any of it.

I'm just glad one of the best pros finally won it! She had a contender with Danny but people couldn't get behind because of his experience and after that she didn't have anyone great until Kelvin. I don't think Jamie would have won it for her.

I literally only just watched back all the dances on YT, and Kelvin edged Karim in the showdance so well done to him :) :clap1:. Also pleased Oti has finally won .

I liked Karim's showdance but i wish there was more content and more dance styles in it , it was mostly a contemporary piece.

Emma B 's showdance wasn't that exciting either , i miss the old days when the showdances actually were exciting with a mixture of different dance and freestyle and lifts thrown in:shrug:.

Kelvin was the only one that had a more exciting diverse routine for his showdance :cheer2: .

Obviously Kelvin's showdance was the best by far but Emma B also did well and that was a showdance. You can't just do your couples choice dance all over again and call it a showdance.He should have at least made it different and give us some more moves.

Yeah I expected more from Karim's showdance, anyway still glad he made the final.
