Compared to last week I found that that routine made her look stupid, because she had to make all the stupid facial expressions as well, and imo, that doesn't suit her.

You can tell who the judges want to win but as in previous series they rarely get their favourite to lift the trophy. So all the hrvy worshippers revel in his high scores but the true winners have been the ones with improvement and a personality

okay, first of all priscilla queen of the desert group dance was fab

secondly the performances

JJ & Amy: underscored, this was a neat, clean, precise charleston, amazing swivel technique, very much in sync with each other throughout, also lovely to see JJ smiling for once, amazing charleston efforts for a novice 8

Ranvir & Gio: i felt nothing with this again, also i felt like there was too little covering of the floor, and as Len used to say ''too many fleckrl's are not good'' 2 fleckrl's and those backbends are unnecessary for this type of dance, very much overrated again 6

Maisie & Gorka: simply gorgeous, also liked the AR effect of the killer plant at the end of the routine :love: 10

Bill & Oti: not bad for a novice, some very neat looking gancho's, also Bill is perfect to play the phantom :love: 9

HRVY & Janette: lifts were spectacular, phenomenal, performance was high entertainment, however for me there was too little in hold dance content would've liked to have seen more of that 9

Jamie & Karen: technique was awful, performance was hit and miss, not in sync with Karen few times, i thought the worst performance of the night 5

1. HRVY & Janette - American Smooth
2. Maisie & Gorka - Jive
3. Bill & Oti - Argentine Tango
4. Jamie & Karen - Jive
5. JJ & Amy - Charleston - it was nice to see him do a fast dance for a change.
6. Ranvir & Giovanni - Viennese Waltz - I'm sorry but yet again another slow and boring dance from Ranvir. How she was third on the leaderboard and only narrowly behind HRVY and Maisie is definitely a mystery to me. The only person the judges should've put her above on the night imo for technically doing a better dance than them is JJ imo.

Musicals Week really did deliver some truly spectacular moments, but now it's time for six couples to become five, as one more pair will be going home tonight.

I didn't hate JJ as a person, I just didn't think that he should've got so far in the competition because I personally didn't enjoy his dances very much.

He was average in ballroom as well, he basically got through on gimmick after gimmick, he was very lucky to make the quarter finals over at least 3 better dancers, but no doubt it was a nice result for him I’m sure.

His story isn’t a gimmick, but the way the producers played on it was, he wanted to be taken seriously as a dancer and they couldn’t get enough of giving him different gimmicks, like ‘I’m scottish, so I must wear a kilt’ week

Tbf I don't think anyone hates Ranvir the person (well I don't anyway) speaking for myself I don't like how Ranvir or JJ (but he is gone now so I'm gonna make this more about Ranvir) have essentially gotten away with doing next to no fast dances the entire series, I mean Ranvir will have done two fast dances by the time that we'll have seen the top 5 dances which is just shocking to me how a contestant can lack any sort of life to them in their dances.

Also I personally feel like Giovanni does most of her routines for her without Ranvir doing much of the dancing and then being given scores on the same level as HRVY and Maisie which just makes the judges look daft.

But speaking for myself I'm taking issues with her dancing more than anything personal about her.

Not all of us, I’m also supporting Bill and Maisie and don’t fancy either, I’m a fan and follower of his career anyway, so was always going to support, but he has exceeded my expectations, especially considering he’s partnered with Janette, who I’d never really rated before.

Oh it happens for sure, but that’s not to detract from the fact that he’s been a fantastic dancer, I know people who have voted for Maisie purely because they fancy her, but yeah it does happen more for males
