Definitely Mock.

Adam dipped last week although I haven't been greatly impressed with him up to now anyway.
The routines haven't been all they could have, for me anyhow.

From my own family and those I discuss Strictly with.
I've never come across such massive enthusiasm after a dance, like I've heard re John and Johannes Paso Doble.

It was really brilliant in my view, a continuous and packed routine.

It will be interesting to see how things go this weekend again too.

I had some hopes for Tilly but she does good though not with that sparkle needed.

Somehow I think Judy and Dan may struggle again.

However, this series is really one of the strongest ever for me as to Strictly.

The faults are few really and seem to not affect the routines at all.

I agree with you on Adam, I like the guy but he just can't dance from what I've seen so far.:laugh:

I liked Tilly's Charleston, but that's been about it so far for her.

And John & Johannes so far for me have been so incredibly consistent, I can definitely understand why people are starting to hype them up, especially after the Paso performance (which I can understand why your friends & Family have rated that dance highly) it'll be a shame to see that consistency ruined on Saturday if the American Smooth goes wrong.

And I agree with you that the dances by and large should always have basic steps that need to always be followed, I never understand it when people do a dance and then don't recreate the dance at all.

Unfortunately I’m not going to be able to dance this weekend on the show. I have a history of back problems which has always been managed under the guidance of medical professionals. Unfortunately this has been causing me some unwanted problems this week! I have been advised by medical professionals and with huge support from Strictly to get some treatment & rest to ensure that I can get myself back to full capacity & fighting fit for next week. Gutted Oti & I won’t be dancing this weekend but wishing all the other contestants the best of luck & will be cheering them on from home!

Overall I thought that the night was really strong, especially my top 4 of the night.

1. Dan & Nadiya (+12) - It was the only dance that I really found fun on the night.
2. Tilly & Nikita (+9)
3. AJ & Kai (+1) - While not AJ's best dance I do feel that the judges went harsher on her than they were on weaker dances on the night.
4. Adam & Katya (+10) - A massive improvement for Adam.
5. John & Johannes (-4)
6. Tom & Amy (+1)
7. Sara & Aljaz (+3) - No offence but how did that dance get a 36? It was okay, but a 36? Not for me personally.
8. Greg & Karen (-3) - Technically it's the worst dance on the night, but it did make me laugh so it's been moved up a couple of places for me.

10. Rose & Giovanni (-7) - Definitely not Rose's dance imo.

Rose & Gio: mediocre performance, the cha cha technique was quite decent but bit of a underwhelming performance 7
Tom & Amy: oldschool ballroom, very very lovely, yes indeed not perfect but a great first ballroom 8
Tilly & Nikita: the whole dance needed more attack, more passion, more determination, this was quite dull 5
Greg & Karen: i know controversial but i loved it a lot, this was entertainment at its best, so good fun, and great to see him having a good time either 9
John & Johannes: FAB-U-LOUS darling, this was simply perfection 10
Rhys & Nancy: awesome salsa, nothing too energetic for me, and these guys did BTS justice, maybe one of the best salsa's i've ever seen wow 10
Sara & Aljaz: divine tango, week 1 crap to becoming more and more fab, amazing journey this one so far wow 10
Dan & Nadiya: what even was this, zero cha cha content and this wasn't even funny, just very lame, no dance content just a bit of tiktokking to you can't touch this very awkward 1

Adam & Katya: what a comeback, i agree with Motsi, am not writing them off at all, i personally loved this, so dramatic, the lifts were spectacular, the gaucho's were also as crisp, clean you'd want them to be 9

There are many different views plus also some dances I don't like that others do.

So I make my own judgements on what impressed me..

I really enjoyed my top 5 dances in particular tonight, but overall a fun Show for me personally.

4. Rose & Giovanni (+6) - Rose is clearly very good at slow dancing, plus she picked Alicia Keys 2nd best song after Empire state Of Mind (which I know is technically Jay-Z) but Alicia Keys parts of the song are my personal favourite. But yeah a strong dance from Rose this week imo.

Dan & Nadiya: not bad, didn't see any mistakes now compared to few weeks ago with his foxtrot, 8

Adam & Katya: giving these guys the benefit of the doubt, plenty of good hip action, decent efforts in samba technique for a novice either, and quite enjoyable performance 8

Sara & Aljaz: Craig was wrong, most of the rumba techniques were indeed executed beautifully, i agree with Motsi, it is a tricky dance indeed, and with rumba you can also go both ways as well, either classy/emotional or sexy/raunchy and i am glad aljaz chose the former for Sara as it suits her more, almost like seeing her elegant ballroom side in this latin dance, i saw some hip action too which i didn't expect to at first 8

Tom & Amy: this was bit of a hit and miss for me, upper half was alright, but bottom half lacked fluidity, hip action for me, and this music kinda annoyed me, i prefer traditional music for salsa's sorry to be oldschool, good side the lifts were fun, but some of the dancing itself was borderline on dad dance level 5

Tilly & Nikita: basic, simplistic, elegant, beautiful storytelling with this choreo, Nikita is such a fab dancer either, he definitely is redeeming himself amazingly here compared to lets dance 9

AJ & Kai: too little gancho's for me, too little AT content overall for me, it came across to me as if i was watching rock of ages musical or something, from early contender to becoming a bit mediocre for me, you can do so much more AJ, it makes me sad to just see you giving away average performances, could've been absolute knock out but this was poor 3

Ugo & Oti: Craig was a little harsh, i mean ok this performance was not very good, it lacked hip action sure, but for someone who just came back from back injury, nice work and be proud of yourself, good choreo from Oti either, Ugo you are not a natural dancer but that is not too bad, there are plenty more who aren't natural dancers, i enjoyed this performance myself 6

John & Johannes: this was GOOD, up there with my other fave same-sex charleston by Nicolas & Vadim earlier this year, bags of personality, loads of different charleston techniques into this thank you very much JoJo for that choreo, quirkylicious my boys 10

Rose & Giovanni: omg, i am speechless, this was indeed i agree with Motsi a magic moment, up there with your titanic foxtrot, loved the usage of sign language in the beginning of the routine either, you got the makings of a true ballroom queen my dear 9

Rhys & Nancy: already a lot calmer than before, but still those jumps into this routine was unnecessary, otherwise great efforts at this swing AS foxtrot, great chemistry either i am beginning to notice that 8

6. Adam & Katya (+2) - I don't expect the best dances from Adam, but it was definitely an improvement on last week imo. And good Music.
7. Tom & Amy (-4) - Considering the song choice, I found it to be lacking the energy of the song.

Overall I thought that the night was good, the judges scoring however leaves a lot to be desired.

John & Johannes: found it all a bit underwhelming dance technically speaking, however they played the part of werewolves really well so 8

AJ & Kai: i have been her most harsh critic i think, but this was the first time she wowed me since week 1, and no i personally am not that keen on any Bodyguard theme, i thought she played the part of Medusa in the most divine perfect way possible, dance content wise that was good not to lose your balance with all those many turns 10

Dan & Nadiya: very entertaining, but dance content wise this was awful, even AJ was faster paced and that was a VW compared to a Jive 5

Rhys & Nancy: i had expected worse, but Nancy tought him the right basics of Paso, and of course no spanish lines since it is not a traditional paso 8

Sara & Aljaz: lemme be controversial, i thought the 4 wasn't deserving at all, i liked the concept of the routine, i thought she executed the part of dragon queen very well too, i prefer these sort of couples choice's to those streetdance ones 8

Rose & Giovanni: the only bad thing about this was seeing Danny Dyer in the VT which made me want to throw up, but ICE ICE BABY this was freezingly tangotastic 10

Tilly & Nikita: first of all respect on delivering a good routine after a perfect score dance, secondly this was good fun, enjoyable to watch, cheeky and lots of hip action what the cha cha element needs, but also very quirky what the halloween element required 8

Adam & Katya: undermarked, i thought this was a neat and innovative routine, can we have more classical routines pls, i LOVED it 10

Judi & Graziano: aimed to the public at home this was brilliant, with the augmented reality zombies doing workouts that was so funny, respect for still having good energy to pull this one off after recovering from covid, to quote Anton: not your best, but not your worst 7

Tom & Amy: why is Amy's choreography skill for the rock genre pure quality second time i enjoyed a rock choreo from her a lot after her paso with Brian, also second time i enjoyed a devils dance since Mollie & AJ's CCC this was fun 8

Rhys & Nancy: somehow wasn't that much of a fan of this dance, thought he also went wrong in the beginning near the car, don't know why judges were praising him with 9's as i found it quite mediocre or near bad 6

Tilly & Nikita: amazing tango, simply wow also loving the queen's gambit inspiration with the chess pieces combined with the staccato attitude of this dance loved it 10

Dan & Nadiya: sorry craig i like vanilla, saccharine, sweet type of performances, the chemistry here is just amazing to watch, it also put a smile on my face, clever clever choreo, good job #TeamWalkova 9

John & Johannes: hmmm difficult one for me to judge, did i feel it yes but it could've been so much better either, John is capable of so much more, good rumba so a 8

AJ & Kai: PERFECTION, this was stunning, superb traditional charleston, great swivels, great lifts, great character throughout 10

Sara & Aljaz: why was this last to perform in running order, overmarked a lot, if Aljaz was dancing with a broomstick you wouldn't notice much difference, way too stiff also with her head placement which looked awkward how she did hold the same position the entire time, and you are allowed to smile more genuinely in this dance, didn't enjoy this that much 4

Dan's always been in his comfort zone basically


i agree with Shirley, but this week he was far out of that comfort zone with the street elements


he also has a fab chemistry with Nadiya, one of best chemistries i've ever seen on the show so far :worship: :cheer:


this couples choice best so far of the series, put a big smile on my face and i have rewatched it quite few times either

Sorry like, however I don't see Dan as a dancer in any way at all.
I get his dances are humorous and so entertaining.
However his arm movements aren't natural, they even looked forced.

I couldn't care if he was 5 feet tall or 7 feet tall.
His routines don't come across as natural movement.
Last night's routine was to me anyhow, uninspiring in any shape or form.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Her Latin is improving. For me she has the while package.

hope they took notes from Ben & Isabel's rumba at german lets dance, and suggest to include moment of silence/beating noises in the routine, for public to feel how she feels the music

AJ is 10000% above her league, not a single bad dance i personally have seen from her and Kai is a GREAT DANCER for sure, good replacement for both Anton, Kevin

and i love how Kai's dad Tommy was in the audience :clap1: unexpected kinda, since he was at first disappointed he didn't follow into his footsteps of becoming footballer, but walking his own path as a dancer, good he respects this choice in the end :love:

imagine thinking Rose was undermarked, while a 32 is a pretty decent score for a samba


i gave an 8 compared to last weeks 10 because two different dances, and as for samba in general i have seen many which were better not this series but overall

she did fine in terms of that samba to that style of song the italian glitz and glamour vibe


i thought AJ did a better samba with more basic content, more latin vibes throughout but very undermarked

I agree that Rose is the Hellsing Ultimate of the series (overrated) but in fairness I'd say that she is a better dancer than Dan on a technical level.:laugh:
